The SuperValu TidyTowns competition is administered by the Department of Rural and Community Development and we are here to support TidyTowns groups in their efforts to improve their area and create a sense of place. The Department of Rural and Community Development This year in collaboration with our funding partner, aims to support rural and community development and Fáilte Ireland, the Department allocated €14 Million to support vibrant, inclusive and sustainable communities through the Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme to throughout Ireland. support outdoor recreational projects. Further information on the various supports available can be found by The Minister for Rural and Community Development visiting www.gov.ie. provided €1 Million to TidyTowns groups to assist them prepare for the 2021 competition. Since the Department SOCIAL MEDIA was established in 2017 over €5.2 Million has been provided directly to TidyTowns groups. TIDYTOWNS WEBSITE The TidyTowns website contains a host of information from the Handbook, Newsletters, recent entry forms, terms and conditions and supports to assist groups in preparing an entry for the SuperValu TidyTowns competition.
