HIGH PERFORMANCE TECHNOLOGIES 300 hp! Equipped with technology from F1®, the direct injection 1.8 L engine is fitted with a turbocharger with turbine mounted on a ceramic ball bearing. Combined with a dual-clutch EDC automatic gearbox, it provides a torque of 420 Nm and reduced response time for increased efficiency. An engine performance helped by the exhaust line. Controlled according to the engine speed, load and the R.S. Drive mode chosen (Sport or Race), the valve in open position allows the engine full expression. Thanks to the 4CONTROL system with 4-wheel steering and 4 hydraulic compression stops, New MEGANE R.S. & R.S. Trophy provide optimum road holding and grip. Fitted with the Sport chassis, New MEGANE R.S. combines comfort and high performance for sporty driving every day. Thanks to its Torsen® limited slip mechanical differential and its dual material front brake discs which reinforce the performance of its underslung Cup chassis, New MEGANE R.S.
