Radicchio 2021 Radicchio is a traditional Italian chicory that is gaining popularity across the United States. Radicchio is day-length and temperature sensitive. We suggest trialing varieties in your region to find the best slot. If your radicchio plant- ings tend to bolt then start the seedlings later. If they tend to not head up, start the seedlings earlier. DTM= days from transplant to maturity. *This slotting is based on a maritime climate characteristic of the Pacific Northwest and Northern Italy.
