THE NORDIC CAB STORY
N ordic C ab AS
established 1991
In 1982, Founder and Inventor Dagfinn Nyborg came up with the idea
to develop a trailer for his dog Churt to pull, towing children and gear to
his mountain cabin in the middle of Norway.
What started as a hobby soon turned in to the Combi-Sled, a product
that had many of the same features you find in the Nordic Cab trailers
today.
The pictures are taken in the 1980´s and show the Dagfinn’s wife Bjorg,
their dog Churt and their son Erik. Today Erik is managing the family
business that is NordicCab.
Today NordicCab continues to develop and distribute quality
multifunctional bike trailers so families can enjoy spending time together
– wherever they go

TESTED IN IT`S NATURAL HABITAT
Nordic Cab originated in Hamar, a small town right by Norway´s largest lake and just minutes from the best cross-country skiing in the
world.
This area is truly ideal for field testing, as the Mjøsa bike trail runs 50km along the lake and Sjusjøen cross country ski centre boasts
endless kilometers of groomed ski trails.
For years we have tested our multi trailers in this area, and as the products became more and more popular, so have many of our
Norwegian ski heroes!
From this we have gained valuable experience which we use every day to provide you and your children with the best outdoor
experience possible.

NORDIC CAB ON SAFETY
Whatever weather, traffic, woods or mountains, you can always transport your children safetly in a Nordic Cab product.
All models meet and exceed all standards for Bicycle Trailer and Stroller.
They are all delivered with 5-points seat harness, mesh net, good ventilation, water resistant
materials, UV-protection in windows, sunscreens, safety flag, LED lighting and reflective materials for excellent visibility.
We have also included an additional security wire for e-bikes as a standard feature, and a
custom made hiking and ski pull system for improved ergonomy and reduced strain.

All Nordic Cab models are developed with the needs and wishes of parents and children in mind.
Therfore we have developed reclinable seats which are uniqe in the market, with multiple recline levels and extra low sleeping position,
all done in seconds with our easy adjustment functions.
In the Nordic Cab`s comfort seats your children can sit upright, sleep or the inbetween.
We also have independent suspension systems on each back wheel for increased comfort and stability while riding, large wheels,
adjustable handle and easy folding.
In the Nordic Cab trailer your children will enjoy the ride comfortably - whether you`re out in the Nordic winter,
or enjoying the Mediterranean summer.

NORDIC CAB ON VERSATILITY
The Nordic Cab concept from the beginning has been to develop products that can be used by anyone, anywhere, any time. This is why
our logo depicts a city0 and mountains – and anything in between.
The Nordic Cab trailers all come as a bike trailer and stroller in one, with a handy and easy storage space for the towbar when that is
not in use. The stroller wheels can easily be put under the seats, the wheel protector which is necessary for bike trailers is retractable
for when you use it as a stroller and the comfortable head cushions can be placed higher as your children grow.
All our trailers can be converted into a jogger, skisled or hiking trailer.

Retractable wheel protector
A wheel protector is essensial to a bicy-
cle trailer, but when you use the Active as a
stroller, or you go jogging or skiing with it, it
can easily be folded away.
Suspension
The Nordic Cab coiled suspension system is
individually connected to each wheel for im-
proved balance control, to keep you and your
child comfortable in all terrains.
Sunscreens
In addition to our UV protected windows, we
have additional integrated sunscreens on all
windows.
Reflective wheel rims
We know how important it is to be seen at all
times therefore we have added
reflective rims to our wheels, as well as
reflective material and LED lighting.

Smart ventilation
With Urban`s additional ventilation hatches, the
air enters from the sides and exits through the
back, giving a comfortable but not disturbing
flow of air in the cabin. The ventilation can be
adjusted according to weather and climate.
Conveniant and elegant additional bag
The bag has a shoulder strap so you can take it
with you wherever you go, it fits snuggly on the
top of the trailer where it is within easy reach or,
if you prefer to hang it over the handles, the bag
can be firmly secured against the trailer.
Overview
Urban has a conveniantly located top hatch just
in front of the handlebar so that when you are
out walking or jogging, you can see your
children at all times.
Double set stroller wheels
As the name suggest, Urban is designed for a
everyday life, and the double set of stroller
wheels make the trips to kindergarten or the

Explorer - Our most versatile trailer!
Being the first model launched by Nordic Cab,
The Explorer was designed with the aim to cover
as many outdoor activities as possible, althewhile
keeping you and your children safe and
comfortable.
Insolation and protection
The plastic hardbase also offers added protection
should you bump into something on your way,
as well insolation for colder evenings or in the
wintertime.
Robust base
The Explorer features a robust plastic base, that
enables the many alterations this product offers,
in quick and easy steps. It also simplifies the
assembly of the trailer and features drainage
holes for water.
Fully reclinable seats
Explorer features a unique seat solution where
the seats can be adjusted to any position you
want, and all the way down to create a vertical
flat bed, for the optimal sleeping position

Babyseat
A product for the smallest passengers between 0-9 months old.
In our customized baby seat, your child will lie comfortably and safely while the child is
asleep or awake. The babyseat provides stability to the child’s body and head while the
child can still see the surroundings and take part in the journey.
Compatible with all Nordic Cab models.
Storagecover
When your Nordic Cab is not in use, the storage cover protects your Nordic Cab from rain,
snow, dirt, dust and sun.
Waterproof fabric with waterproof seam.
Compatible with all Nordic Cab models.
Extra head support
Stable and comfortable support for children’s head and neck. Especially comfortable while
the child is asleep.
Easy to attach / remove with Velcro.
Ventilated and soft fabric.

Raincover Urban and Activ
Protects the child from heavy rain and wind.
Cover the front and top of the trailer and prevent water and dirt from penetrating. Made of

ACCESSORIES
Splitseat
In Explorer, the seat is rigged for both children and not separately as in Urban.If your
children have a certain age difference and maybe just different sleep rhythm, this may
be a product for you. This split seat attachment is fixed in an upright position. This
means that when you lay down the original seat, this split seat is always in the upright
position. Compatible with Explorer.
Cargocover
By removing the top frame, the canopy and seat on the Explorer, you are left with an
excellent cargo trailer. The cold-resistant plastic bottom can withstand up to 60 kg of
load without any problems. The cargo cover is waterproof. If you need more space, it
can expand an additional 15 cm by opening the zipper that runs along the edge of the
draw. Compatibility belt with Explorer.
Dog kit
If you have an energetic dog, this is the perfect convertible kit. This kit converts your
Explorer into a dog trailer, to transport children or goods. The adjustable and padded
harness fits most dogs that are able to pull. The harness is developed with veterinari-
ans and dog clubs in Norway. Adjustable harness fits a dog with a breast size between
80-120 cm. Compatible with Explorer.
Wheelbarrow Handle
Attach the wheelbarrow handle to your hiking kit-pull-drag and convert the Nordic
Cab Explorer to a lightweight wheelbarrow.
Perfect for use in the garden or for transporting objects easily and quickly to and from
the cabin.
Compatible with Explorer.
Nordic Cab storagebag
Easy to install. Attach to the lower rear of your Nordic Cab with buckle and fits tight.
Volume space about 16 liters. At Urban, it can also be attached (an extra handbag) on
top of the trailer. Adjustable padded shoulder strap. Removable rain cover integrated.
Reflex stripes for good visibility. Two mesh pockets on the outside for bottles. Com-
patible with all models.
