This was after one of their members, who is pregnant, tested positive for Covid-19 and the sta- tion had to be closed for decon- tamination. This goes against the set con- tainment regulations set by the SAPS which are communicated in the Containment and Manage- ment of Covid-19 within the South African Police Services document. The regulations state members who are 28 weeks pregnant and more, and members who are 60 years and older with one or more stated comorbidities which are not well managed, are to continue working away from the stations.
