Love Children Spring 1 Week 5

Dear Parents,
Open Gates
Thank you for your support of the children and school during the past
half-term. We have achieved so much together, both with the pupils in
school and those at home.
I am amazed every day at everyone’s capacity to ‘keep calm and
carry on’ despite the challenges we are facing in our personal and
professional lives with the ongoing Covid 19 pandemic.
I am hoping that we can all enjoy a well-deserved rest next week. The
school staff have been immense in their response to the third lockdown
and I know you will join me in thanking them for all their flexibility and
creativity, not to mention the additional hours they are putting in week
on week, to ensure that we offer the best we can to all your children
and keep all the school systems running smoothly and safely.
For the first two weeks back after half term will continue to operate as
we are currently. You will be aware that the Prime Minister will be
making an announcement on February 22nd regarding his plans to
ease the lockdown. As soon as we have any further information about
school arrangements beyond March 8th, we will let you know.
Just a reminder that there will be no home learning next week. (I can
hear that sigh of relief all round!!) Please remember that there are
some lovely activities on our February well-being calendar and CBBC
also have a wide offer on their YouTube channel

Videos are being uploaded daily that are
suitable for 5-11 year olds. We have all
the top CBBC brands on here, with a wide
range of genres from factual shows, news,
dramas, comedy to entertainment.
Programmes like Horrible Histories, Blue
Peter, Newsround, The Next Step, Saturday
Mash-Up, Operation Ouch, the Playlist, the
Dumping Ground, Heirs of the Night and
Jamie Johnson. We are also welcoming back
Dani Harmer in the brilliant new programme
My Mum Tracy Beaker.
