Faculty. Dr. Gorlov received his degree at Pavlov State Medical University in St. Petersburg in 1999. In 2001 he completed postgraduate education program at St. Petersburg Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education (MAPO). Lecturer of many courses and conferences focusing on esthetic dentistry. He is an experienced restoretive dentist and an expert in immediate loading and function. Head of his own private practice since 1999 and restores approximately 1,000 im- plants a year. At present he is chief dentist of one of the leading Russian clinics. Alexander Gorlov Russia Dr. Davidyan received his dental degree at Yerevan State Medical University in 1992 in Armenia. In 1997 successfully completed clinical residency at the Department of Orthodontics, Moscow State Medical Dental University. From 2001 to 2003 held the position of chief dentist at Chicago Center of Advanced Dentistry (Moscow). In 2003 founded a clinical research and education center «Avroraclinic» (Moscow). Lectures extensively on national and international level and takes part in numerous scientific conferences and events. Author of more than 60 articles and 2 books: «Soft Tissue Recession Coverage» and «Atlas of Soft Tissue Management Around Implants». Aram Davidyan Russia
Dr. Ruben Davo received the following degrees MD, MSc, PhD, MFS, during his formal training and education. He is currently the Director of Davo Institute at the Medimar International Hospital in Alicante where he serves as Chief of the Oral, Maxillofacial and Implant Surgery Department. He has focused his patient care on dentofacial deformities, guided surgery, rehabilitation of patients with atrophied bones and quality of life issues. He is a member of the faculty at the Barcelona University Hospital. He lectures worldwide and provides international educational courses and programs at the Davo Institute. His PhD dissertation focused on “Immediate function in atrophic maxilla using Zygomatic implants”. Ruben Davo Spain Dr. Sascha A. Jovanovic was trained in Periodontics at UCLA School of Dentistry following his DDS degree at the University of Amsterdam. He was trained in Implant Dentistry at Loma Linda University and Prosthodontics at University of Aachen in Germany. He received the MS degree in Oral Biology from UCLA, where he is Implant Course Director in Continuing Dental Education. He is Academic Chairman of the gIDE Institute and has developed since 2003 the leading peer reviewed e-learning platform and since 2006 the 1-year blended certification program in Implant Dentistry and Esthetic Dentistry. He is a Past President of the European Association for Osseointegration. He has received several research awards and lectures worldwide. He has published more than 65 journal articles. Dr. Zorin graduated cum laude from Saint-Petersburg State Medical University named after Pavlov. Completed post- graduate program and residency at the department of oral and maxillofacial surgery at Pavlov State University. At present – practicing surgeon at Dr. Zorin’s Implant Center. Lectures extensuvely at Russian and international con- ferences on implatology. His practice is dedicated to 3D treatment planning, NobelGuide and NobelClinician, bone grafting and immediate fuction. Sergey Zorin Russia Dr. Kopylov graduated from Samara State Medical University, Russia in 2004. He completed clinical residency and received his specialist diploma at Samara State Medical University. Treats patients at several leading clinics in Moscow, Samara (Russia) and Kharkov (Ukraine). Specializes in advanced bone grafting, advanced user of all Nobel Biocare implant systems: parallel walls, tapered, conical connection. Prof. Paulo Malo received his dental degree from the Faculty of Dental Medicine at the University of Lisbon in 1989. He founded the MALO CLINIC in 1995 where he developed several innovative techniques, protocols and products, such as the All-on-4® concept which allows the placement of fixed teeth in a single day on total edentulous patients without the need of bone grafting. Prof. Malo is a visiting professor for several universities, has published numerous scientific journal articles and is co-author of several textbooks. Prof. Malo lectures regularly in international conferences and has also received several distinctions and awards for his medical/ dental breakthroughs and his management, leadership and entrepreneurial skills. Paulo Malo Portugal Started activity as dental technician specializing in fixed prosthesis and in particular as ceramist. Following Degree in Dentistry with prize at the University of Modena Italy he attended several courses to perfect knowledge in prosthetic dentistry and implant surgery. Teaches several lectures in Italy and world wide on Esthetic matter on implants and natural teeth. winner of the Master Clinician in Implant Dentistry at the gIDE/UCLA 2011, winner of the Master Clinician in Esthetic Dentistry at the gIDE/UCLA 2012, winner of the prize for the best prosthetic video during the Nobel Bio- care Symposium 2010. Faculty member and chairman at the gIDE/UCLA for the Esthetic/Implant Master Program in Europe, China and Australia. Published internationally: Esthetic Previsualization in QDT 2010 and about Esthetic in the Francesco Mintrone International Journal of Dental Technology Japan January 2011, Creation of the final abutment before the surgery in the Italy immediate tooth replacement in `the European Journal of Esthetic Dentistry 2013. Master dental technician. In 1984 graduated from Vinnitsy Medical College in Ukraine with a diploma of dental technician. Since 1991 head of VAMURS dental laboratory. From 1997 worked at various dental laboratories in Germany. In 2000 founded Lemberg Dental-Labor in Germany which holds the reputation as one of the best in the country. Specializes in all-ceramic restorations on teeth and implants and the use of CAD/CAM technology. Igor Myaskivker Germany Luc and Patrick Rutten graduated in dental technology at the Dental Technician School “Anneessens” in Brussels/ Belgium. After receiving their Master Degree they moved to Cologne/Germany to specialize in different milling techniques and ceramic layering techniques. They lectured regularly all over Europe, in Australia, India, Israel, Japan, Saudi-Arabia, South-Africa and USA. In addition to numerous publications in international dental journals on a regular basis in the fi eld of esthetic implantology and esthetics in general, Luc and Patrick are co-authors of several text books and authored the books “Implant Aesthetics” and “C, B and I: The Art of Harmony”. Patrick Rutten Belgium Dr. Fabbri graduated with honours in dentistry and dental prosthodontics from the University of Pavia. He is an active member of the Italian Academy of Prosthetic Dentistry (A.I.O.P), a prestigious scientific Academy in the field of esthetic and prosthetic dentistry. He has published several international articles in peer-reviewed journals and lectured in Italy and abroad on topics related to fixed prosthodontics and implant prosthodontics with specific interest on esthetics, new materials and minimally invasive approach. He works in Ban Mancini Fabbri Specialist Dental Practice, located in Cattolica (Italy), in the field of esthetics and prosthetic rehabilitation on natural teeth and implants. Giacomo Fabbri Italy
Dr. Ophir Fromovich received his DMD degree from the Medicine and Pharmacy Institute in Bucharest in 1988. He is an expert on dental implants and for the last 22 years his practice has focused on placement and restoration of dental implants. Dr. Fromovich is the key inventor of the NobelActive implant. He holds the position of Research Associate at the laboratory of dental technology in the Periodontal Department of Hadassah School for Dental Medicine in Jerusalem. Dr. Fromovich lectures both nationally and internationally, conducts advanced implant courses and is the Head of the International Center for Dental Education in Israel. He is a member of the German Association of Dental Implantology, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the Israeli Ophir Fromovich Association of Oral Implants. Israel Dr. Peter Wohrle received DMD and MMedSc (Oral Biology) degrees from Harvard University, School of Dental Medicine, in addition to a Specialty Certifi cate in Prosthodontics and a Specialty Certificate in Implant Dentistry. Prior to his studies in Boston, he completed a four-year dental technician program in Switzerland. At Harvard, he worked with others on developing the concept of Immediate Loading with Brånemark implants. Later, he applied these principles to the single tooth and the concept of immediate tooth replacement.
