Student Portal • Information relating to Cal Poly Pomona and your admission status can be accessed through My CPP *After the admission process MY CPP is used as a student to search and register for classes, access campus email, access unofficial transcripts, etc.*
Student Portal • Log into Bronco Direct frequently to stay updated on admission decisions, holds, necessary documents, deadlines, etc. • It is your responsibility to check your student portal and meet requirements. 7
Admission Process • Decisions are processed on a rolling basis. • All students will have an admissions decision of either admit, deny, or waitlist by March 31, 2020. • If a student is admitted after March 31st (admitted on appeal or admitted from the waitlist), the student will have ten business days to accept their offer of admissions and should check their Bronco Direct account for the exact due date. • If a student does not wish to continue with the admission process, please complete the form at: • https://www.cpp.edu/~admissions/withdrawal-form/
Freshmen Application Status & Deadlines • Provisional Admission is granted based on self-reported information. • Admissions decisions are subject to verification of requirements for Transfer Students and supplemental criteria (if applicable). • Final official transcripts are due by July 15, 2020. • Transcripts can be submitted electronically via Parchment or by mail. • Submit AP Scores from College Board by June 30, 2020. • Housing Application for 2020-21 academic year opened February 19, 2020. • Only applies to out of area freshmen and those interested. *Do not send any documents, unless requested on your To-Do-List on Bronco Direct* 9
English & Math Placement • In accordance with EO 1110, multiple measures are now being used to determine student academic preparation. • CAASPP-EAP Exam • ACT and/or SAT Exams • AP Exams • High schools grades and coursework Important to Know • Majors in STEM must take ALEKS PPL Assessment (unless exempt) • Please refer to Student Portal for more information
Enrollment Confirmation Deposit • A $150 non-refundable Enrollment Confirmation Deposit (ECD) is required to accept an offer of admissions. • ECD is due by May 1, 2020. • Payment should be submitted online through Bronco Direct. • Tutorials are available on our Admissions Webpage under “How to pay your Enrollment Confirmation Deposit.” • ECD Waivers are available for eligible students receiving state or federal need-base grants or full financial assistance. • *If receiving an ECD waiver, you must still accept your admission to the campus* 11

Mandatory Orientation: Freshmen • You must pay your ECD to be able to register for Mandatory Orientation. • Orientation Registration opens on Monday, April 6, 2020. • 2 day orientation (includes overnight in Res. Halls). • Early orientation registration will offer the best dates and more options to meet your personal schedule. • Orientation dates will run June 15 to July 16. • The last day to register is June 8, 2020. • If you need to request a fee payment deferment, you must still register by June 3rd and contact Orientation Services at orientation@cpp.edu. 1 3

Bronco Access Card • The Bronco Access Card is the official identification card for the university. • It can be used as a debit card on campus. • It provides access to campus events, 24 hr. computer labs, library resources, Health Services, recreational & fitness facilities. • Instructions to access your Bronco Card will be provided to you at Orientation.
