Tony Walsh film – Every Child Counts The premiere of a new film featuring internationally renowned performance poet Tony Walsh was launched in January at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital. The film was produced to help celebrate ten years of Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital and the words used to narrate the footage had been penned by the famous wordsmith. He was inspired by poignant stories of families from whose children owe their young lives to the hospital’s medical teams and staff. The 10-minute film captures what life at the hospital means to staff, patients and their families, starring those who helped Tony in his initial brainstorming session. Tony Walsh was joined by his fellow co-stars back in January (pictured) to witness the screening premiere in the Hospital’s atrium, in support of the hospital charity.
