IVER HEALTH SYSTEM December 2019 - January 2020 New Logo, New Look for 2020 Great River Health System will start the new year with a new look and a shorter name. The health system includes Great River Medical Center and Fort Madison Community Hospital, which signed an affiliation agreement in August 2018. With consultants’ help, it was determined the health system should have a unified visual identity. The Great River Health –without “System”– design will be used for all entities to signify the corporate brand, accompanied by the name of each entity. Fort Madison Community Hospital and Great River Medical Center will not change names. Examples of the new logos are to the right. The logo consists of colors used by all entities. The design uses three elements to create one im- age, and a wavy line extends through the middle. That line represents the river, which is in our name and in our communities. The logo transition for Great River Health and Great River Medical Center is expected to be complete by next summer. The hospital’s 125th anniversary is Aug. 1.
