2020 Miss Janine Hatcher Southeastern An advocate for the lifelong success of youth across the country, Janine currently serves the Southeast region of Louisiana as Miss Southeastern Louisiana University 2020. Janine first joined the fight to uplift students across the nation along with prominent leaders of cities in New Jersey, Virginia and now here in her current home, the sweet state of Louisiana. She is very honored to continue to carry out this very work under her social initiative, R.I.P- Respect Individual Potential-an initiative to cherish, uplift, and mentor our youth in order to alter the trajectory that many children are headed on. This social impact serves to dissolve the roads that many children take towards committing child suicide, dropping out of high school or getting involved in adolescent violence. Janine believes that if we show respect for the potential our children have as future leaders, then one day they will self-realize that potential themselves. As she completes her Master’s of Business Administration in the next few months, Janine plans to continue her endeavors to stop the notion of Rest In Peace, and to continue inciting everyone around her to start Respecting the Individual Potential of our youth while we still can, and while they are still here .

She hopes that once things return to normalcy, she can work with the future Miss Southeastern Blank title holders to keep the Mister Southeastern pageant alive. Chelsey wants to remind all contestants, viewers, and judges that it takes a lot of confidence to compete for this job. At the end of the day, the end goal is to make sure everyone has a good time.
