Welcome to our Day Trip Brochure for 2018
Stanley Travel is once again delighted to offer a range of new destinations as well
as the popular, ‘good old’ favourites, operating from March to December, there
will be something to tempt every taste. We have listened to ideas suggested by our
customers and are always interested to hear of venues you would like us to include
in a future programme.
Group bookings are welcome on all our trips, if you organise outings for a social
group or WI’s etc., please contact us. There are group discounts available on most
day trips and the organiser goes free on groups of 20+. We can reserve a block of
seats for you, giving you the opportunity to confirm interest from your members
and then make a firm booking.
All our trips are available to book online at your convenience, or by calling our
office on 01207 237 424 between 9.00am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. Our
booking office staff will be only too happy to assist with any queries you may have
and payment can be made by debit/credit card or by sending in a cheque.
There will be additional ‘ad-hoc’ trips being added throughout the year for special
interest events, these will be added to our website as soon as they are released.

Feeder Vehicles
Feeder vehicles may be used to bring you to join the main coach or vice versa on your
return. Please note that the feeder vehicle may be a coach, minibus or taxi.
How to book my day trip?
Booking your day trip couldn’t be simpler by using one of the following three options.
1. Online via our secure website at www.stanley-travel.com. You can choose your
day trip, pay and print your ticket from this option.
2. Contact our Booking Office in the Bus Station, Stanley by telephoning
01207 237 424 or by visiting the office in person where our staff will be happy to
answer any questions you may have.
3. Visit one of our booking agents throughout the area.
We offer a comprehensive choice of pick up points around the local area.
NEW for 2018 is that you can board at our Annfield Plain
depot (where the coach departs for the day) and you
can park your car securely all day. Toilets are available
before departure.

Booking Conditions
Alterations
The company reserves the right to alter or cancel any Day Trip listed in the brochure,
or to change the size or specification of the vehicle used. On occasion it may be
necessary to allocate a vehicle smaller or larger than a ‘standard’ coach.
Unaccompanied Children
Children under the age of 15 must me accompanied by an adult of at least
18 years of age.
Children under 5 years of age
By law they must have their own seat to travel in, therefore, we are unable to offer
free child seats. We have a policy whereby we do not permit babies in arms. Coach

Cancellation
We endeavour to operate all of our day trips as advertised. However, if due to less
than a minimum number of bookings, we are forced to cancel any day trip, we
reserve the right to do so up to two working days prior to departure. All monies paid
by passengers will be refunded or offered another day trip. Following this, will shall be
exempt from further liability.

of years. Situated on Albert Road close to the Winter Gardens, Tower and Shops,

Roselea Hotel
A warm family welcome awaits you at the Roselea Hotel by its proprietors
Denise and Roger, customers have been returning here year after year for
the hospitality they receive. Situated on Albert Road and close to the Winter
