WHO WE ARE &
WHAT WE BELIEVE
The Men’s Health Trust is a registered charity.
We believe people should take responsibility for
their own health and wellbeing, take time to learn
what they can do to live healthier, and take action
to make it happen.
We recognise the need to look out for the health
of others - our mates, family members, work
colleagues, and others in our communities.
Our aim is to inspire men to live healthier by
sharing success stories, providing education,
inspiration and provocation when needed.
We are all about helping men in NZ live long,
happy, healthy lives.

The Men’s Health Trust brand is masculine,
professional and credible, yet opportunistic,
colloquial and fun. Our work encourages men
to take a proactive approach to looking after
their health and wellbeing through education,
inspiration, and where required, provocation.

MEN’S HEALTH MONTH
We organise Men’s Health Month in June annually.
Men’s Health Month is a nationwide awareness campaign to get
men talking about health, and to share ideas and information on
health and ways to live healthier.
Hundreds of workplaces, businesses and health clinics Nationwide
participate by hosting men’s health events, running activities and
distributing posters and resources on men’s health.
Activities, information and resources are promoted through
menshealthmonth.co.nz.
The month receives a wide range of media coverage including
television and radio interviews, newspaper articles and social
media presence.

THE CHECK
The Check is a Men's Health branded check-up men can purchase
through our website for $50 and redeem at participating health
clinics. This product will be launched nationwide furing Men's
Health Month 2017.

A new nationwide all ages social sporting event to be held every
April. Secure naming rights to this event now.

LIONS TOUR GALA DINNER 6 JULY 2017
The Men's Health Trust in association with the Barbarians and the
NZ Rugby Foundation are hosting a fundraising gala dinner at the
ANZ Viaduct Events Centre for up to 900 guests.
Sponsorship options range from $15,000 (event sponsors) to
$40,000 (naming rights)
WAIRAKEI CHARITY GOLF DAY
Held annually in November since 2010, the event attracts up to 30
teams (120 people) for a networking day of golf. Take advantage
of this recently available opportunity to become the new naming
sponsor. The golf is preceded by a Cocktail Party with separate
sponsorship opportunities.
Sponsorship options range from $250 (hole sponsorship) to
$20,000 (naming rights)
NZ MINIGOLF OPEN
2017 marks the inaugural NZ Minigolf Open with the nationwide
final at Liliput Tamaki Drive in Auckland, twith the Men's Health
Trust as an event partner. Naming rights sponsorship is available
from 2018.

MEN'S HEALTH TALKS
By taking Men’s Health to the workplace, we reach hundreds of
men directly every year. In our presentations, we talk about the
benefits of living healthier (and what will happen if we don’t), we
share tips on making healthy lifestyle choices, we do some basic
medical health checks, we encourage men to look out for the
warning signs of diseases like prostate cancer and bowel cancer
and encourage early treatment, and we address some of New
Zealand’s biggest killers – obesity and heart disease. The Talk is
also available to community groups at a discounted rate.

MEN'S HEALTH SCHOLARSHIPS
Through our partnership with Unitec Institute of Technology,
we offer Men’s Health Scholarships to men studying nursing,
to encourage more men into this field, and to acknowledge and
reward students with an interest in men's health.
