NAME: Alison Richardson NAME: Donna Cobb ROLE in SCHOOL: Headteacher ROLE in SCHOOL: KS1 & EYFS Leader and EYFS Class Teacher FAVOURITE COLOUR/S: FAVOURITE COLOUR/S: Green – because it reminds me of nature. Orange –because it is like warm Turquoise and peacock/ jade green (I also like purple – or any shade of blue!) sunshine. Purple – because it can be both calm and funky! FAVOURITE FOOD: FAVOURITE FOOD: Margarita pizza (cooked in a proper pizza oven – preferably eaten in Italy!) Christmas dinner, with all the trimmings – especially bread sauce and stuffing! As a child I liked Charlie and the Chocolate Factory or Chitty Labyrinth – a Jim Henson classic with a fantastic soundtrack by David Bowie. I also Chitty Bang Bang. really like the The Muppets (2011) – again, an amazing soundtrack to sing-along to! FAVOURITE CHILDREN’S BOOKS: FAVOURITE CHILDREN’S BOOK: So many to choose from … The Green Book (previously called Shine) by Jill Paton Alice in Wonderland – I love the magic of her journey and all the crazy characters Walsh is one of my favourites. she meets. More recently, I have discovered the Inkheart trilogy; another series of FAVOURITE PLACE / COUNTRY: books which take you on an amazing adventure! Any gardens or in the sea. I love exploring Croatia and Italy. FAVOURITE PLACE / COUNTRY: WHAT ANIMAL WOULD YOU BE? It would have to be New Zealand or Switzerland. I love mountains and woodland I love cats of all types, but I would want to be able to fly and see the world, so with streams and waterfalls… and air so fresh you can smell the purity! perhaps a swallow. WHAT ANIMAL WOULD YOU BE? SECRET TALENT / SKILL: A cat – who wouldn’t want to eat, sleep and be cuddled all day? I like painting, ceramics, creative writing and dancing – but I’m not sure that they SECRET TALENT / SKILL: are a secret or a talent! I used to be quite good at climbing trees, but I’ve not done Singing?!? My degree was in Theatre Studies and I love performing in musicals! What I lack in skill, I make up for in enthusiasm, I was born at midnight, so my mum was allowed to choose my birthday. just like Gerald the Giraffe. SURPRISING FACT: I swam to France with my family! It took just under 15 hours!

NAME: Jane Beeching NAME: Alison Dickinson ROLE in SCHOOL: SENCo ROLE in SCHOOL: Office Manager FAVOURITE COLOUR/S: FAVOURITE COLOUR/S: Ooh dear..so many! Blue, pink, white (I know, I know - white isn’t always counted Purple & Blue I have always been drawn to both of those when choosing things! as a colour!) and green can be lovely too. FAVOURITE FOOD: FAVOURITE FOOD: I like most things but you can’t beat a Roast Pork dinner with all the trimmings Macaroni cheese; spicy food. It depends on the day! especially the crackling!! FAVOURITE CHILDREN’S FILM: FAVOURITE CHILDREN’S FILM: I do like The Sound of Music and the Paddington films. Oh, and The Railway The Railway Children - I think this was the first film I saw at the cinema as a child and Children. So many good ones! I still enjoy watching it now. FAVOURITE CHILDREN’S BOOK: FAVOURITE CHILDREN’S BOOK: I love reading, so am not sure how to choose just one. I loved reading Heidi when I The Wishing Chair by Enid Blyton (I still have my copy) or The Family from One End was a child. As a teacher, I loved the work my class did on ‘The Lonely Beast’. We all Street by Eve Garratt which was a book that we read in my primary school. loved the books by Oliver Jeffers and The Crayons books. FAVOURITE PLACE / COUNTRY: FAVOURITE PLACE / COUNTRY: I have lots of places that I really like in the UK, but if I had to choose somewhere Scotland: the air is so clear in the countryside. Lots of lovely memories. I love abroad it would have to be Sri Lanka and Italy. I would go back to Sri Lanka in a Edinburgh as a city. I haven’t been abroad very much, but I have been to Iceland. It heartbeat - it’s amazing! I love the Italian experience - the people are so friendly and was very cold and windy there and there was no snow when I went. the food is amazing and Rome is just packed with history and culture! WHAT ANIMAL WOULD YOU BE? WHAT ANIMAL WOULD YOU BE? Well, I love Giant Pandas, but they’re quite rare, so I might get lonely. So, maybe I I would be a Tiger, they are the most beautiful big cat. I first thought how striking would be a cat, instead. I could be on my own when I want to be, and go exploring, they were when I saw one on a visit to the zoo (and on the old Esso advert). but curl up somewhere warm and be with people when they aren’t annoying! SECRET TALENT / SKILL: SECRET TALENT / SKILL: Award-winning tea-picker, if you’ve time to wait (it’s not easy getting the right bits I have worked in florists when I was younger, so I can do some simple flower in the basket)! I was a Ballroom dancer as a child even took exams and had medals! displays…slowly! I can also milk and calve cows! SURPRISING FACT: SURPRISING FACT: I once did an army assault course for charity, including a huge climbing wall which I am trying to learn Ancient Greek! It is very hard! you had to jump off the top - very nerve wracking as I don’t like heights!!
