(iv) Based on performance in Competitive Exams like NTSE & KVPY Name Scholarship % on Tuition Fee Criteria This Scholarship on tuition fee will be given to those students Qualified for NTSE (Stage-II) 75% who are eligible to write NTSE (Stage-II) Exam. (Attach Proof) This Scholarship on tuition fee will be given to those students NTSE (Stage-II) Qualifier who are eligible for NTSE Scholarship (NTSE Certificate attested 100% by Principal will be required). This Scholarship on tuition fee will be given to those students who have qualified in Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana KVPY - Aptitude Test Qualifiers 50% Aptitude Test. (Attach Proof) This Scholarship on tuition fee will be given to those students KVPY - Interview Qualifiers 75% who have qualified in Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana Interview round. (vi) Based on performance score in Competitive Exams like NEET* NEET Qualifier Marks Scholarship % on Tuition Fee Criteria 450 & Above 50% This Scholarship on tuition fee as per the criteria 400 & Above 45% mentioned in the table will be given to the students on NEET score and these students also need to submit a 350 & Above 35% proof of preparing for next year’s NEET to improve their 300 & Above 25% marks/selection. (Attach Proof). *(Only for Class XII Passed Students) Meaning of Scholarship (Scholarship means Fee Concession; Fee Discount; Fee Waiver): If at any point of time government decides to charge GST on the scholarship / concession amount/fee waiver and in prize money, then it shall be borne by the students.
B Category (A student can avail any ONE of the scholarships in Category - B, whichever is higher) Scholarship for Ex-Aakashians Scholarship % Name Criteria on Tuition Fee This Scholarship on tuition fee will be given to Ex-Aakashian who has already taken our Two years classroom course / One year Regular Course at any of centres / branches of Aakash Institute. Ex-Aakashian (R1) 20% He/she must have paid full course fee. Left out / Droppers will not be given this benefit. The student will have to submit the proof for the same. Those students who had joined our Short Term Classroom Courses (Crash Course / Test Series Courses) shall be given this scholarship on tuition fee. Ex-Aakashian (R2) ` 2000/- He/she must have paid full course fee. Left out / Droppers will not be given this benefit. Such students should submit the photocopy of fee receipt issued to them at the time of admission in crash course. This Scholarship on tuition fee will be given to Ex-Aakashian who had joined any of our One year / two year long Distance Learning Programs (DLP) or Test Series Courses at classroom centre. Ex-Aakashian ` 1500/- He/she must have paid full course fee. Students who paid booking (DLP & Test Series) amount or registration fee etc. will not be given this benefit. Such students should submit the photocopy of fee receipt issued to them at the time of admission in crash course. Students who had taken Aakash Foundations classroom courses are Ex-Aakashian also eligible for this scholarship. ` 2000/- (Foundations) The student will have to submit the proof for the same. Students who had taken One year / Two year long Aakash Live Courses are only eligible for this scholarship. He/she must have paid full course Ex-Aakashian 10% fee Left out / Droppers will not be given this benefit. (Aakash Live) The student will have to submit the proof for the same. Students who had taken One Year / Two Year Long premium Aakash iTutor courses are also eligible for this scholarship. He/she must have Ex-Aakashian 5% paid full course fee. Left out / Droppers will not be given this benefit. (iTutor) The student will have to submit the proof for the same. Note: It's the responsibility of the student to apply for the above mentioned concession criteria at the time of admission. In case he /she does not apply for the same for whatsoever reason, the concession will not be granted given or adjusted at later stage. All students to abide by this policy. Meaning of Scholarship (Scholarship means Fee Concession; Fee Discount; Fee Waiver): If at any point of time government decides to charge GST on the scholarship/concession amount/fee waiver and in prize money, then it shall be borne by the students.
C Category (A student can avail any ONE of the scholarships in Category - C) Scholarship for Other Categories Scholarship % Name Criteria on Tuition Fee This Scholarship on tuition fee will be given to those students who have lost their Single Parent / father and their mother is the only single earning member in the family. Proper 5% Divorcee application and proof in this regard will have to be submitted by the mother. This benefit will be given to the wards of Female Divorcee also (Attach Proof). This Scholarship on tuition fee will be given to those students (Sibling) whose brother or sister is currently studying in classroom course with us. In this case, Sibling 5% scholarship will be given to the student who is taking admission and not to the student already studying in Aakash. However, in case, if two brothers/sisters take admission together at the same time, then both will get this benefit / advantage. This Scholarship on tuition fee will be given to the wards of various Defence Defence / Personnel (Army, Navy, Air Force, CRPF, CISF & BSF) & Police Directorate. (Attach 15% Police Proof). This Scholarship on tuition fee will be given to those students who have lost their Martyr 100% father/mother during their service either in War, Terrorist Warfare or Govt. Operation. (Attach Proof). Note: The scholarships of Category-A, B & C (for Long Term Courses) can be clubbed. However in Short Term Courses (Crash Course / Test Series Course), a student can avail concession mentioned in Category-B & C only. Scholarship is offered on Tuition Fee only. Awards / Prizes Aakash Institute offers Award Scholarship for Aakashians who secure Rank in NEET / AIIMS / JIPMER as under. (b) The student must be of Classroom Course of AESL. (c) If any other Institute claims him/her as a student of their Institute, he/she will not be eligible for the award scholarship. (d) Prize money is inclusive of GST. (e) The award scholarship is applicable only to All India Ranks of General Category and not to the ranks under any other head such as SC, ST, OBC, PH, Defence, etc. (f) The award scholarship will be paid in Indian Rupees only (By Cheque). In all cases, the decision of the Chairman cum Managing Director of Aakash Educational Services Limited shall be final.
