A Message From The Artistic Director Thank you all for attending and for your support of the Playhouse. The Wizard of Oz has always been close to my heart. Back before the days of streaming services, YouTube and the like, The Wizard of Oz was only broadcasted once a year on one of three major television networks. I can vividly remember being a child sitting on the living room floor with my five siblings hovering over a bowl of popcorn in front of our old Zenith console television filled with awe and wonder. My first live theater experience was on a class trip to a local theater in Philadelphia to see a production of The Wizard of Oz that further deepened my love for this wonderful story and planted an early seed that would one day turn into my career... All of these years later, I feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to present our version of The Wizard of Oz with all of you. Kudos to Director - Cathy Randazzo-Olsen, Choreographer - Lara Williams, Music Director – Roger Blankenship, Costume Designer – Jill Williams, Make-up Designer – Maya Suchy, and Stage Manager – Monica Lester for their fantastic work on this production. Also, a big thank you to our entire cast and crew who have worked so tirelessly to make this show a reality. Our 2022-23 mainstage season is filled with a wide variety of exciting shows for the entire community. You can view our line- up for next season inside of this playbill. Subscriptions are now available for our season shows and purchasing a full or partial subscription is a great way to support the Playhouse. Thank you for your patronage and support. I hope to see everyone again in April as we present a very special limited engagement of William Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing on our Mainstage. I wish you all health, love, and happiness! Enjoy the show! Daniel Eilola

Dear Valued Patron: The Board of Directors, staff, and dedicated volunteers of the Lake Worth Playhouse would like to express how excited we are to present to you our 69th season of live theatre! We, at the Playhouse, strive to remain the best community theatre in all of South Florida. This Shakespearean classic is a play that lends itself to comedy and pathos about two pairs of lovers with different takes on romance and a way with words.
