MELBOURNE FRINGE
13/9/18 - 30/9/18
Melbourne Fringe is a celebration of cultural democracy and art for
everyone. By embracing diversity and a spirit of independence, we create
a unique space for artistic self-expression linked to the life of our great
city. Thatís why Melbourne Fringe is the most adventurous, inclusive,
all-encompassing multi-artform festival in Australia. Every year we feature
thousands of artists from every discipline you can name (and a few others
besides) performing 400+ events in over 160 venues to an audience in
excess of 350,000 people.
Melbourne Fringe is the place to go for pure, unadulterated, uncurated
and unexpected artistic discovery. We help artists develop and provide a
platform for a vast, diverse range of voices, in celebration of the idea that
when we come together, we create a safe space for risk raking. We find
ideas from the margins and shout them to the world. We love the weird
and strange, the different and queer, the misfits and the freaks. Weíre
here to challenge perceptions and shake up the hierarchy, to be brave and
unafraid, to explore the boundaries of art and to change the way you see
the world.
The Melbourne Fringe Festival an uncurated, open access event. The views
expressed by any artists or performers in any event do not necessarily
represent those of Melbourne Fringe.

VICTORIAN WINE
REGIONS
North-East Victoria
The North East Victoria Wine
Zone has five wine regions, Alpine
Valleys, Beechworth, Glenrowan,
King Valley and Rutherglen. No
matter what your favourite wine
may be, the North East will have
something for you.

Rutherglen
The name of this wine region
is etched into the history of
Australian winemaking. The
fortified wine styles of Port and
especially Liqueur Muscat and
Tokay are undoubtedly of world
class. After about 140 years as
a wine region Rutherglen was
developing a fairly tired, passé
image in the late nineties, but
since then it has been revitalised.

Beechworth
Is a small historic town
surrounded by a small wine
region. There are only a few
wineries but they make up for
their limited production by
making wines of great finesse.

Yarra Valley
Sir Paz Cellar Door
Offering Estate Grown wines
of distinction and exclusive
Mediterranean Cheese Platters
for all discerning wine & cheese
enthusiasts. Open 11.00am to
5.00pm every Sunday.
