DAILY ITINERARY 2021 TODAY'S VAN SUPPORTED RIDE: AVID OPTION: Day Alcudia Loop Approximately 38 miles with 2,170 Avid Alcudia Loop Approximately 60 miles with 3,200 feet of climbing feet of climbing 1 DESCRIPTION: Welcome to Mallorca! Your Trek Travel guides will meet you at Monnaber Nou at 9:30 AM. Upon arrival, your guides will lead a short round of introductions, review ride safety, and fit you to your Trek bike. The Alcudia Loop is a perfect ride to start the week. You'll be riding out of the hotel through the countryside, just under the mountains, and towards the sea. In the colorful port town of Alcudia, you can choose to ride out to a small cape and enjoy beautiful views of the ocean. Today is van supported so if you need extra snacks or drinks along the route, it will be available so you can push yourself if you'd like to tackle all of today's mileage or take it easy on the shorter loop. The ride returns through the flatland towards Sa Pobla and back to the hotel where you can check in to your room before joining the group for dinner and discussing the fun days ahead. This historical chapel sits atop a hill, enjoying a 360-degree view overlooking the picturesque mountains, the Alcudia Bay, and beyond. Your guides will accompany the group by bike today to assist if anything comes up along the way so you can ride either option at your own pace. You also can also take the opportunity to discover more of the island on your own, as well. The choice is always yours. Dinner is on your own tonight and you can choose to enjoy dinner at our hotel or take a taxi into a nearby town with many recommendations from your guides. We'll pedal over to the traditional town of Sineu which is located geographically at the center of Mallorca. Like yesterday, your cycling guide will be supporting the group on the ride today so you can take in the views while riding at your own comfortable pace. We'll enjoy another dinner together at our hotel as we look forward to tomorrow's ride. For those who have booked the first four days of the 7-day itinerary, this will be your last evening all together. It's a wonderful opportunity to celebrate your trip and say farewell to these new friends. Today's ride is van supported so you'll have the opportunity to have extra snacks and drinks available or change up your riding gear depending on the weather. You can push yourself if you'd like to tackle all of today's mileage or take it easy on the shorter route. Then, take the pedal back to the hotel at your own pace on the flats through the center of the island. Choosing the longer option today is a great way to get in some more base miles. Our guides will accompany the group by bike today to make sure you are comfortable and assist if anything comes up on today's ride. Afterwards, with the help of some guide recommendations on your app, enjoy dinner at a restaurant of your choosing if you decide to head into town or relax and enjoy dinner at the hotel. Today's ride options are guide-supported by bike and they will be along the route with you and the rest of the group to assist you should anything arise.
