FREE YOUTH FOOD PROGRAM The Free Youth Food Program is provided through a partnership with the Michigan Department of Education. All snacks are USDA approved and free for children 18 and younger in our community. EMERGENCY FOOD BOX Thanks to partnerships with the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan and Hopevale Church, the United Way of Bay County, and the COVID-19 Community Response Fund at the Bay Area Community Foundation, we offer a delivery service for our Emergency Food Boxes. We understand that some families may not be able to leave their homes at this time, but we remain vigilant in helping to feed our community. Families or individuals with limited mobility may now choose to have their Emergency Food Box delivered to them rather than pick it up at our YMCA. To Pick Up A Food Box Call us at 989-895-8596 during our business hours to schedule a pick-up time. Pick-up times are from 5pm to 8pm, Monday-Thursday, 5pm-7pm on Friday, and 9am – 4pm on Saturdays. To Schedule A Food Box Delivery Call us at 989-895-8596 during our business hours and provide your information for delivery. Deliveries are made on Mondays and Thursdays. DOW BAY AREA FAMILY YMCA Birthday Parties BIRTHDAY PARTIES Available on Saturdays from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM and People Member Prospective Member Sundays from 12:30 – 3:30pm. This package includes 1-20 $145 $205 the use of our Family Center for 3 hours and the pool 21-30 $170 $230 for 2 hours during that time. The pool will include use 31-40 $195 $260 of the water slide and splash features. 41-50 $220 $285 We provide table and chair set-up/take-down. You bring your own cake, ice cream, food, drinks, paper products, and decorations. You are responsible for clean up. Overnight Rental OVERNIGHTERS Full night rentals run 10:00 pm – 5:00 am. The People Member Prospective Member swimming pool will be open for your group 11:00 1-100 $1,500 Please Call pm–1:00 am. Half night rentals are also available for 4 101-200 $1,700 Please Call hours or fewer. A $200 deposit is required to hold your 201–300 $1,900 Please Call date. This fee includes YMCA certified staff, sports 301–350 $2,000 Please Call equipment, and other miscellaneous amenities. The water slide can be turned on for an additional fee. Field Trips The YMCA is the perfect place for your morning and afternoon field trips. Our state of the art facility has all of the features to make for an incredible day. CHILDCARE The Early Childhood Curriculum is designed around the Creative Curriculum. The Creative Curriculum is an educational component with lesson plans that support each child’s physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and language development. See our Education & Childcare options below! Infant/Toddler Care/Tykes A warm, safe, and caring environment is provided that encourages your child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Parents supply diapers and meals. Birth – 2 ½ years old. Monday – Friday | 7:00am – 6:00pm Explorers A warm, safe, and caring environment is provided which encourag- es your child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical develop- ment. Children must be potty trained. YMCA After School The Y is a fun and safe place for your kids to unwind after school! For kids grades K-8. All schools welcome. • Field Trips possible! • Additional STEM curriculum! • Free snacks! HEALTH & WELLNESS Personal Training Dow Bay Area Family YMCA Personal Training will give your fitness an upgrade! All personal trainers either have a 4 year degree in an exercise related field, or have various certifications in CPR, AED, Sports and Fitness, and Personal Training. Whatever your specific needs are, we can work with you by helping to identify your goals and then custom designing a workout plan centered around those goals. Our trainers are passionate about what they do. Muscle Recovery Personal Training We are offering a new variation of Personal Training: Muscle Recovery. There will be 30 minute and 60 minute sessions available for purchase in the same pricing as our standard personal training sessions. Recovery Personal Training will consist of body tempering and/or KT taping. Participants can choose one or both during their 30-minute session. 60 minute sessions will consist of body tempering/KT taping to begin with and then a personal training session for the remainder of the time. HEALTH & WELLNESS Fitness Assessments Fitness Assessments will assess your body composition via skin folds or bio-electrical impedance analysis, BMI, muscular endurance, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, muscular strength, waist-to-hip measurements, and blood pressure. Our trained Wellness Staff will review your results with you that same day and give you recommendations for improvement. Fitness Assessments will take about 20-30 minutes.
