Mapping Actors and Alliances Project in South Sudan An initiative of the Small Arms Survey’s Human Security Baseline Assessment (HSBA) Project www.maapss.org Update No. 1 MAAPSS Update 16 June 2020 The new South Sudanese Cabinet: Ministerial appointments in the Revitalized Transitional Government of National Unity—SPLM, SPLA-IO, and SSOA Introduction Kiir’s cabinet appointments also saw familiar faces remaining in government.
