The Darker Side of Bath

vision, there has been a shadowy, darker side.
In this ten week course, you will explore aspects of the city, from the Romans
to the modern-day, including man-made and natural disasters, war, criminality,
poverty, injustice and scandal. From the Battles of Lansdown and Lansdown Fair
to the Widcombe Footbridge disaster and Avon Street Lodging House Scandal,
you will never look at Bath in the same way again.’

Ceramics for Beginners

These beginners ceramics classes are tailored for those with little to no
experience in making ceramics. Within these workshops you will have the
opportunity to gain practical experience of a wide range of making methods.
From hand building to throwing on the potter’s wheel, all basic skills of the
ceramicist will be covered. You will be able to develop many surface techniques
from texture to slip decoration, discover ways of obtaining colour and learn about

Fine Metal describes the design and making of small-scale artefacts using the
