                                   Relational Ethics:
Rebalancing our Approach to Ethical Decision Making

Have our codes of ethics become too prescriptive? Has our ethical decision making become too
rule-bound? Relational ethics is offered as a counterbalancing approach. A process of ethical reasoning
that attends to both rules and relationships may produce the best outcomes for clients.
