Annually, the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals® (NAHREP®) Top 250
Latino Agents Award recognizes the industry’s leading Hispanic real estate agents and brokers
from across the country. In its eighth year of publication, the following report recognizes agents
whose hard work and dedication has led them to close an outstanding number of transactions in
an effort to increase the rate of sustainable Hispanic homeownership in communities across the
country. These agents represent a combined total of 25,552 units in closed transaction sides from
January 2018 through December 2018 and over $6.67 billion in total aggregate volume. These
hard working agents are set apart from over one hundred and fifteen thousand Latinos in real
estate through their dedication to homeownership.
Recognition of the agents who carry out the NAHREP mission of sustainable Hispanic
homeownership in communities across the country has been a priority for NAHREP since the
inception of the Top 250 award program in 2012. This year’s honorees were selected from over
1,000 self-nominated agents, a testament to the prestige of the award. In addition to the highest-
ranked agents based on transaction sides, this year’s report examines several additional categories
among the candidates, including agents by team, distribution by geographic regions, such as the
South, Northeast, West, Midwest, and Texas. In addition, the report takes a closer look at agents
by volume, millennials, and top individual agents. NAHREP salutes the Top 250 Latino Agents in
America and their success year after year. Join NAHREP in recognizing these individuals and their
Top 250 Latino Mortgage Originator counterparts on social media using #Top250. ¡Felicidades!
Methodology
The listing of the Top 250 Latino Agents in America is compiled through broker affirmed self-
nomination and recognizes the nation’s most successful agents and brokers for their residential
real estate transactions. Residential is defined as dwellings with four or fewer units, excluding
rental properties, vacant lots, and commercial real estate transactions. Once received,
NAHREP reviews the nominations for accuracy by validating against other available data,
including MLS records, company records, and franchise data. A small number of nominations
were modified or disqualified where third-party validation was not available or consistent.
Sales production data is representative of the 2018 calendar year. Ethnic background is
confirmed through self-attestation. In instances where there is a tie based on transaction sides,
higher rank is given to the agent with greater sales volume. NAHREP membership is not a
prerequisite for participation or acknowledgement in the Top 250 Latino Agents & Mortgage
Originators Awards.
