The State Association of Rajasthan PSAs named Association of Security Associates, Rajasthan (ASA) joined CAPSI with its 200 plus members as its Affiliated State Association. Kr Udai Bhan Singh Rathod CEO of ASA played an important role in bringing both association together. We heartily welcome every member of ASA into the Grand CAPSI Family.
2 February-2021 CAPSI COMMITTEE MEETINGS 13th & 17th February 2021 @ 3PM JOINT MEETING OF THE The joint meeting was held on 13th February was EDUCATION & TRAINING attended by the Members of respective Committees COMMITTEE AND STANDARDS to discuss the parameters for infrastructure, & QUALITY ASSURANCE curriculum and training mechanism for setting up training centres as par PSARA, to MHA. Chairman Education & Training Committee Kunwar Vikram Singh presided over the meeting. Members deliberated on the various aspects so that Chairman: Co-Chairman: Dr. R K Tyagi Dr. Sheetal Nair the wider interests of the CAPSI members are kept in mind. Committee members were briefed by the Members: Mr. Anirudh Singh, Mr. Vikram COO about the progress made so far. Detailed Mahurkar, Ms Kinshuka Sethi, Capt S B Tyagi Mr. Subhash Rohella discussion took place on the Training of MDs. The next review meeting will be held soon so that a well Standards & Quality Assurance Committee drafted proposal can be submitted to MHA. Kumar, Mr. Ajit S Nair, Mr. D S Reddy TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE MEETING 17th February 2021 The Technology Committee meeting of CAPSI was Chairman: Co-Chairman: conducted on 17th February chaired by Mr. Anil Mr. Anil Dhawan Mr. Rajesh AR Dhawan and attended by Capt B N Yadav, Mr. Gautam Garodia, Mr. Dushyant, Col Mukesh Members: Mr. Iqbal Sigh Jagdeva, Capt. B. N. Yadav, Col Mukesh Lakhanpal, Mr. Gautam Lakhanpal and Mr. S Venkatesh. Kunwar Vikram Garodia, Mr. Dushyant Jamwal and Mr. S. Singh presided over the event. Venkatesh Mr. Anil Dhawan updated the forum with a comprehensive presentation highlighting the Vision, Mission, Road Map of the Way Forward. Being the first meeting of the committee, each council member made a brief introduction and shared his views highlighting specific areas of Knowledge, Resources, Integrated Design and standardization. A common spirit to promote seamless integration of Manpower and Technology was endorsed by all members. The committee agreed to initiate and build the seamless integration progressively with a time bound action plan. CAPSI Chairman encouraged the committee by sharing the expectations of the Government for creating safe and secure environment by infusing latest security technologies and professional Human Resources. Mr. Mahesh Sharma thanked members for joining this committee.
3 February-2021 NORTHERN REGIONAL MEET Education & Training Committee 26th February 2021 @ 3PM The Regional meeting (Northern States) of CAPSI was held virtually on 26th February at 1500 hrs chaired by Kunwar Vikram Singh and attended by Office bearers of Respective States of North Region & CAPSI National Office Bearers. The Agenda of the meeting was to discuss the activities undertaken by State Chapters and the issues being faced by them. As it was the first meeting of the Northern states, each member made a brief introduction and shared his views highlighting the issues faced by the PSI and the activities going on in the respective chapters. Chairman cited the statement of Additional Secretary MHA that henceforth Controlling Authorities of the states would work like facilitators and that they had a different role to play. Chairman advised all the members to go through the amended PSARA and be prepared for its implementation. Chairman highlighted the working plans of Central Committees of CAPSI. All the members agreed on the preparation of a Model Agreement for resolving industries issues under the ease of doing business. He urged the members to share their suggestions and apprehensions if any on the Model of Agreement and Central Committee documents. All the members endorsed this. In the end Mr. Mahesh Sharma thanked members for attending the regional meet.
4 February-2021 CEO CAPSI VISITS SOUTH INDIA CHAPTERS Telangana It was a matter of pleasure to visit and meet functionaries of Telangana Chapter of CAPSI in Hyderabad. My special thanks to Mr DS Reddy President Telangana Chapter of CAPSI for organising meeting in his office which has been renovated in very aesthetic way. The exchange of thoughts and ideas was very fruitful. State specific issues were discussed. Major issue was conduct of training by IITA and their signing MOU with PSAs. The initiatives of CAPSI with respect to training as well as taking up cases with Ministries were also discussed. I am thankful to each and every member who took out their valuable time for the meeting and came on Sunday which happens to be holiday for them and shared their rich experience and views. My special thanks to Mr C Bhaskar Reddy President Andhra Pradesh Chapter of CAPSI for going out of the way to organise lunch and meeting. The exchange of thoughts and ideas was very fruitful. State specific issues were discussed and achievements of Andhra Pradesh Chapter ware highlighted. The initiatives of CAPSI with respect to training as well as taking up cases with Ministries were also discussed. Internship coordinated for the students of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel University was also briefed. During the Webinar, another important issue of the recovery of pending payments was deliberated in detail where Shri Vijaya Kirshan Boddu an expert on Contract Management and Payment recovery delivered a presentation followed by an interactive session.
6 February-2021 PROUD MOMENT FOR CAPSI AND ITS MEMBERS Checkmate guards the Narendra Modi Stadium, Motera Kunwar Vikram Singh, Chairman, CAPSI congratulated Shri Vikram Mahurkar, as CHECKMATE takes Motera Stadium; the world's largest cricket stadium under its watchful eye. CHECKMATE won this honour first time while Ex US (a democracy, most powerful in the world) President Donald Trump was at Motera Stadium and now while HE Shri Ram Nath Kovind, President of India (largest democracy of the world), formally inagurates the world's largest cricket Stadium, Motera on 24 Feb 2021. APS MARATHON MAN MAKES CAPSI PROUD Covered 750 KMS Golden Traingle Odyssey APS Marathon Man, Mr. Ramanjit Singh Oberoi, undertook the challenge of Golden Triangle Odyssey covering 750 kms on cycle in just 3 days ! ( Delhi-Jaipur-Agra-Delhi )It started at 6am on 19th Feb from India Gate and ended at 9 pm on 21 st Feb 2021. There were 24 participants & he finished strongly in the end. Of all the events done till now, on the difficulty level, he would rate the following most difficult: i. Everest Base Camp ii. Golden Triangle Odyssey iii. 151 kms run in Oct last! Chairman extends his appreciation and congratulated Mr. Oberoi on this achievement.
7 February-2021 AUDIO-VISUAL - PSARA PORTAL On the directives of the Ministry of Home Affairs, CAPSI prepared a video mentioning about the PSARA 2005 and its amended version of 2020. The Ease of Doing Business by the PSI was elaborately illustrated. Various stakeholders from the industry described the PSARA Portal as an important landmark for the security industry. NKJJKHKJHKHKJHKJHKJHKHKJH The video was appreciated by Senior officials in the MHA and has been successfully uploaded on the PSARA Portal website which comes under the Ministry of Home. The industry lauded the effort of CAPSI in projecting the benefits that the industry is reaping with the amended PSARA guidelines.
