Environment Dr Lovreglio holds a PhD in Fire Safety Engineering from the joint PhD School of Politecnico di Torino, Politecnico di Milano e Politecnico di Bari (Italy). After obtaining his PhD in 2016, Dr Lovreglio was a postdoc at the University of Auckland until his appointment at Massey University in 2018. Dr Lovreglio is an expert in Human Behavior in Disasters, Applied Statistics, and Evacuation Simulations. He has carried out several behavioral studies using new technologies such as virtual reality, augmented reality, BIM, and 3D scanning. Since 2014, he has published more than 40 journal articles and 3 book chapters.
