HOW TO APPLY We welcome applications at any time of the year. We recommend that you apply a minimum of two months prior to the start of the programme you are interested in. Armed with this new qualification and his background in anatomic and clinical pathology, Philip now works at Toi Ohomai teaching degree-level nursing papers. ‘I feel my purpose is to teach. Graduate Profile Kamaljeet Singh Kandhol, from India, did a lot of volunteering in the nearby forestry industry while he studied his Graduate Diploma in Resource Management programme. After graduating, he secured a forest technician role at Forest and Woodlot Inventory Services. ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS Toi Ohomai can help arrange accommodation while you are here for your studies. HALL OF RESIDENCE (ROTORUA) Tangatarua Hall of Residence, a hostel owned by Toi Ohomai, is located next to Mokoia Campus in Rotorua. Situated in a park-like setting with mature landscaping and open spaces, the hall offers our students an attractive and affordable place to live just a short walking distance to the campus. SHARED ACCOMMODATION (TAURANGA) Toi Ohomai offers rental houses close to Windermere Campus in Tauranga. The bedrooms are lockable and furnished. Living areas and bathrooms are shared with at least one other student. The houses contain essential cooking utensils, crockery and appliances, washing machine, fridge/freezer, and a television. HOMESTAY We recommend living in a homestay option, especially if you are studying English and want to be able to practise your English with your host family. The family environment can also ease the adjustment of living in a new country as you experience different food, language, and customs. We recommend you commit to staying at least one month with your homestay family while you adjust to life in Rotorua or Tauranga and while you and your homestay family adjust to each other.
