GENERAL INFORMATION THANK YOU FOR VISITING THE GREAT INDIANA STATE FAIR In order to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, there are a few things you need to know: If severe weather or an emergency affects the Indiana State Fair, please listen for public address announcements and follow instructions from State Fair personnel and public safety officials. To report emergencies or a safety concern, please call (317) 927-7520. If you do not have access to a phone, stop any police officer or State Fair staff member, or visit one of the Indiana State Police or Indiana State Fair Information Booths presented by Prairie Farms. Indiana State Police Information Booths are located across from the Administration Building, in the Public Safety Center, and just west of the Farm Bureau Building. Indiana State Fair information Booths presented by Prairie Farms are marked on the enclosed map. If you need immediate medical assistance, please call (317) 927-7520, and emergency medical personnel will be dispatched to your location. Smoking is prohibited at the Indiana State Fair with the ex- ception of designated areas marked on the enclosed map. Weapons, including firearms and knives, are prohibited at the Indiana State Fair. INFORMATION GENERAL Everyone who enters the State Fairgrounds this year brings with them fond memories of the sights and sounds from Fairs gone by. For Janet and me, we are excited to continue creating memories in our roles as your Governor and First Lady. The Greatest 17 Days of Summer give us an opportunity to celebrate Indiana agriculture and promote it to hundreds of thousands of people across our great state. GENERAL INFORMATION GUEST SERVICES ACCESSIBLE PARKING Accessible parking can be found just inside Gate 1, the southwest corner of the infield adjacent to the ADA accessible walk tunnel, Gate 16, the South Lot and the Indiana School for the Deaf. ATM INFORMATION ATM’s are located around the Fairgrounds; see map for GENERAL specific locations. BAG POLICY All bags, purses and fanny-packs are subject to search upon entry and within the Indiana State Fairgrounds. All entrances may utilize “Bag Search Areas” for guests carrying a permitted bag. Regulations prohibit weapons (including firearms and knives), alcoholic beverages or glass items. Guests are not allowed entry with the aforementioned prohibited items. The Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center does not offer a claim-check area or storage lockers. SMOKING POLICY Smoking is prohibited except at designated smoking areas stationed around the Fairgrounds. These areas will be clearly marked with a receptacle for all discarded smoking materials. FIRST AID First Aid is located at the Public Safety Center near Gate 6 off Fall Creek Parkway, and at Hook’s Historic Drug Store Annex near Gate 1 off 38th Street. Emergency ambulance service is available. During the Fair, call 317-927-7520 (ISF Security) to request an ambulance. LACTATION STATION Located in the Renewal by Andersen Family Fun Park, and in the Hook’s Historic Drug Store Annex. LOST & FOUND If you have lost something during the State Fair, contact the Public Safety Center during the Fair at 317-927-1400. After the Fair is over, you may reach our switchboard at 317-927-7500 with any questions regarding a lost item. STATE FAIR INFORMATION BOOTHS PRESENTED BY PRAIRIE FARMS The State Fair Information Booths, presented by Prairie Farms, can be found at Gate 6, Gate 12, in the northeast corner of Pioneer Village, and on State Fair Blvd. Hours are 9AM-9PM. Visitors can receive information about events, concessions, fair activities, and can grab some FREE sunscreen. Senior shuttle wristbands can also be purchased here. PETS Animals not involved with State Fair exhibits or being used as service animals are not permitted. WEAPONS No person in possession of a weapon (including firearms and knives) shall be permitted onto or be permitted to remain on the Fairgrounds; any person properly licensed to carry a firearm must secure the firearm in a locked compartment of his/her vehicle and it shall not be visible to a passerby. Lawrence Speedway Indianapolis PARKING OPTIONS STATE FAIR PARKING These $8 lots are located south of 38th Street across from the Main Gate, at the Indiana School for the Beech Deaf Grove on 42nd Street, and in the Fairgrounds Infield while supplies last. INDIANA SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF PARKING Lot hours are 9AM – 9PM on Monday, Wednesday & Thursday and 6AM – 9PM on Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday. TRANSPORTATION CENTER The Transportation Center is an area for dropping off Fairgoers by bus, car, taxi, Uber, Lyft, etc. This is located just inside Gate 11 on 42nd Street. MAYOR’S BIKE TO THE FAIR RIDE On Saturday, August 10 at 10AM, join Mayor Joe Hogsett on a bicycle ride to the Fair! The ride will launch from River House, 6311 Westfield Blvd., Indianapolis, IN, 46220. INDYGO PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION IndyGo Routes 4 & 39 will bring you just steps away from the Indiana State Fairgrounds main entrance on 38th Street. Fare is $1.75 per ride or $4 for an all-day pass. Youth 18 and under and people 65 and older are eligible for reduced fare with proper ID. Plan your public transit trip to the Fair at www. IndyGo.net. GENERAL INFORMATION INFORMATION GENERAL FREE STATE FAIR PARK & RIDE Park at the Glendale Mall’s Rural Street lot (free of charge), and ride the shuttle to the Indiana State Fair — all for FREE! The shuttles run every 20 minutes, from 10AM to 11:45PM, every day of the Fair. FAIRGROUNDS PARKING Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis inside the State Fairgrounds for $8/vehicle. Visitors should enter through Gate 1 off 38th Street, Gate 6 off Fall Creek Parkway or Gate 10 off 42nd Street. Hoosier Lottery Expo Hall 38th Street PEDAL & PARK (FREE BICYCLE PARKING) Save $1 off Fair admission when you ride your bicycle to the State Fair and use one of the (free) secured bicycle racks available on the Monon Trail at 38th Street.
