The Concentrated Mental Demand
Everyone’s main goal in life is to become triumphant but only an individual with great
mental demand can achieve whatever he/she craves in life. The concentrated rays of the sun
can burn a piece of paper, the train moves when the steam is concentrated at a particular
site similarly, dissipated waves do no good for your success.

The will power in one’s life brings great turns in their journey. For cultivating it one must first
have to develop positive attitude as it is like the price tag that shows how valuable you are.
A deaf child says, “For all of you I am deaf but for me all of you are dumb.” Life has
different perspective it is you who can chose and nurture your own prospect. You can be the
person you want to be if you Will to be, for Will can find a way and make one. It’s well
known that the pain you feel today will be the strength that you’ll feel tomorrow so work with
dedication and determination. Without the consciousness of this inner force that is the
mental demand you wouldn’t be able to succeed as your state of mind decides your destiny.
You must first have clarity in what you want to do to achieve your intention. Have
confidence, you mustn’t doubt your abilities

Wrestle and choke all your disabilities that acts as barriers for achieving your objective by
developing mental demand as it will guide you when you are lost, so that your mind will
abide you at all times giving thrust towards achieving in your life focusing in your final
destination. It is you who should create the verve, vigour, dynamism and spirit in your lives
as you are the best motivator. Have confidence and courage just by not fearing to be wrong
as you can learn a lot more when you are incorrect.

The second President of Egypt visited India to meet the second Prime Minister Lal Bahadhur
Shastri, during that time when our PM was mocked at for his height as he was the shortest
leader at that time and the tallest one was to meet him he replied that he was indeed proud
as the the President had to bow while greeting or addressing him with a handshake. This
positive attitude shows how using his mental demand he towered over all the tall leaders
with great leadership qualities. The power to succeed is within us who must tap into it.

A Girl With One Hand
Once upon a time, there lived a girl who wanted
to learn boxing although she didn’t have her right
hand. Yet, she wanted to learn and do something
that would make her village proud of her.
With great difficulty, she found a teacher who
agreed to train her. The girl began to learn.
But one thing that the girl did not understand was,
even after several months of training, her teacher
only taught her one move. The girl finally asked Picture credit: pxfuel.com

her master, “Master, since I know this step already,
why are you not teaching me more new steps? I am tired of learning only this.”

“This is the only move which will help you in your life,” the teacher replied. Though
she didn’t quite understand, but believing in her teacher, the girl kept practicing for
several months. Later, the teacher took her to her first match, which was in the city
away from her village. She easily won the first match with a gold medal. In the
second match, though it was a bit difficult, she won it. She was surprised by her
success. She was now in the finals. This time, her match was with a stronger girl.
The girl appeared to be weak for a while. Concerned by her disability, the referee
tried to call the match off. When he was about to stop the match, the girl’s master
disagreed and asked referee to continue the match. With a little bit of effort, the girl
won the match again.

On her way to home, the girl asked the master,
“Master, how did I win the match with only one
                                 move?” The master replied, “You had two reasons;
first, you have almost mastered one of the most
difficult moves in boxing. And, second to defeat you,
your opponent had to grab your right arm only.”
The girl understood how her master had made her
                                 disability into her strongest ability.

Moral: Do not keep having pity on yourself just because you have some disability.
Work hard and you can do anything.

 Rock Garden
                                  INDIA
The Rock Garden is a sculpture garden in Chandigarh founded and built by Nek Chand
Saini. It is also known as Nek Chand’s Rock Garden. Spread across an area of 40 acre, this
beautiful garden was established in 1957. This garden is famous for being one of the most
eco-friendly gardens in the country as it has been built solely by home waste and other
 industrial items.

Nek Chand, started building this garden
secretly during his spare time in 1957.
The sculptures in this garden are made up of
items such as bangles, tiles, ceramic pots and
electrical wastes. With the help of demolished
scraps and waste material, Nek Chand
recreated a divine kingdom among the gorges
 of Sukhna Lake.

The layout of the garden is built around the concept of a lost kingdom with royal ambience.
The entrance of the garden leads to the courtyard where rocks, broken chinaware and
boulders pose like abstract sculptures. It consists of around fourteen chambers like the main
court, poet’s chamber, swimming pool for the queen, etc. The garden is a curious maze of
interlinking courtyards, twisting walkways and staircases emerging into valleys with crashing
waterfalls. There are no flowers or plants in this garden.

 Bonus Fact:
• Nek Chand used to work during the midnight hours, without anyone’s knowledge and
managed to hide it for more than a decade.

• In 1983, Rock Garden appeared on an Indian Stamp.

• With the government’s help Chand was able to set up collection centres around the city for
waste, especially rags and broken ceramics.
