Day 1: Wednesday June 2, 2021 Arrive in Rome. Check in and overnight at Starhotels Metropole**** Located in the city center, near the Roma Termini railway station and the Rome Opera House, the Starhotels Metropole, with its evocative blend of comfort and class, shows Rome at its multifaceted best. The Colosseum, the Fori Imperiali and the Trevi Fountain are reachable within a 10 minute walk. Dinner at leisure Day 2: Thursday June 3, 2021 Breakfast at the Hotel Metropole and check out. 9.30am Meet our English-speaking driver in the hotel lobby and transfer North to Tuscany via luxury air conditioned motor coach. First stop :Castiglione della Peascaia, an ancient seaside town located in Southern Tuscany, originally settled by Etruscans. Renowned for its beautiful beaches and nestled between blue sea and green hills, Castiglione is dominated by a medieval fortress with sweeping views of the Tyrrhenian Sea and skirted by the Pineta del Tombolo pine forest and the famed wetlands of Natural Reserve Diaccia Botrona populated by colorful flamingos and herons. Transfer to Roccamare Resort located in one of the most fascinating stretches of the Tuscan coast for a seaside al fresco Welcome Lunch. Transfer to Cortona and check in at the Hotel Relais Chateaux “Il Falconiere” **** Tonite’s dinner will be at leisure. (not incl.) Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves as far as the eye can see and immersed in a relaxing atmosphere, Villa Il Falconiere is the epitome of a Tuscany dream. Once home to the famous poet Antonio Guadagnoli, the ancient Villa of the 17th century, has been transformed into a jewel of hospitality by the owners Silvia & Riccardo Baracchi. Silvia is the superb Michelin Star Chef of the Il Falconiere restaurant where we will partake in a cooking class and celebrate our Bon Voyage dinner!
Day 3: Friday June 4, 2021 Today choose your option! Option 1: Florence Guided tour of Florence: get to know the city’s origins and more than 2,000 years of Florentine history. Learn why Florence became the birthplace of the Renaissance and visit Florence’s best-known treasures, including the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, and the Florence Accademia Gallery home to Michelangelo’s world-famous Renaissance Statue of David After a late lunch at local restaurant, an afternoon shopping treat on the way back to our hotel: we will make a 1hr 30 stop at the most fashion- able Luxury Outlet Shopping Mall: The Mall Firenze, located in Leccio, just south of Florence: enjoy all your favorite designer brands at discounted prices! Option 2: Vintage Fiat 500 drive through the Chianti hills Experience "La Dolce Vita" behind the wheel of an authentic Fiat 500, a true icon of Italian design, driving on some of the circuit of the Via Francigena and “Eroika” bike race Experience "La Dolce Vita" behind the wheel of an authentic Fiat 500, a true icon of Italian design, driving on some of the circuit of the Via Francigena and “Eroika” bike race Drive along scenic country roads offers splendid views of the rolling hillside, Sangiovese vineyards and olive groves. Our knowledgeable and experienced English-speaking escort will give us the opportunity to do several stops for photos along the way.. After several panoramic stops, we arrive at a lovely winery, enjoy a guided tour of the ancient cellar, and learn all the secrets about their wine and olive oil production. A typical Tuscan light lunch will be served with a tasting of 3 wines. Transfer back to hotel Il Falconiere at the end of the day. Dinner at leisure. (not incl.) Overnight at Il Falconiere Relais Chateaux Day 4: Saturday, June 5. 2021 Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to San Gemignani for a guided visit of this medieval town, a Unesco World Heritage Site. With its 14 towers and picturesque cobbled squares, the town is probably the most scenic hilltop village in Tuscany. Free leisure time to shop and get lunch. (not incl.) Transfer to Siena after lunch: guided visit and walking tour of this perfectly preserved town, a shrine to Gothic architecture. Siena is famous for its cuisine, art, museums and medieval architecture. Transfer back to our hotel. This evening we’ll enjoy a cooking-class at the hotel and learn how to prepare an authentic Tuscan meal in Il Falconiere’s residential style kitchen, using local organically grown ingredi- ents and personally selected by Michelin Chef Sylvia. We then get to savor the fruits of our labor during a seated dinner in the charming dining room! Overnight at Il Falconiere Relais Chateaux
Day 5: Sunday June 6, 2021 Breakfast at the hotel. Today our itinerary takes us South for a full day food & wine tour. First to a wine cellar in Montalcino to sample a Brunello di Montalcino served with a delicious light lunch of the local produce. Then on to Pienza to discover the “Touchstone of Renaissance Urbanism.” This charming village is widely known as the "ideal city of the Renaissance", the creation of the great humanist Enea Silvio. Taste Pienza’s most renowned tradition: the Pecorino cheese. We end the afternoon with a guided cellar tour in the medieval village of Montepulciano where we get to pair local wines with a selection of cheeses and cold cuts, along with fresh bread and various olive oils. Time - permitting, we will visit Montepulciano, where the stateliness of its Renaissance buildings and the refined beauty of the town's churches mix with the ancient tradition of winemaking. Transfer back to our hotel at the end of the day. Bon Voyage Dinner will be held at Il Falconiere’s gastronomic Michelin * restaurant. Overnight at Il Falconiere Relais Chateaux Day 6: Monday, June 7, 2021 Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Today we head back to Rome where our ship awaits and another wonderful adventure begins! First stop: Massa Marittima, a hidden Tuscan jewel perched on a panoramic hill north of Grosseto, in Southern Tuscany. The historical town center has 13th century Etruscan origins and many signs of the past are still recognizable in the perfectly preserved city walls, and in the narrow streets representing one of the most important urbanistic architectural complexes in all of Tuscany. Short guided visit of the town and some leisure time for lunch.(not incl.) Transfer to Rome Civitavecchia for All Onboard between 3.00pm and 4.00pm! Bon Voyage!

TERMS AND CONDITIONS AVAILABILITY OF THE SERVICES The hotels are on hold for the Heart Ranch Winery Group until September 30th, 2020. The prices offered for the requested number of rooms and participants will thus not vary before the end of this period. DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT SCHEDULE 1st deposit of 30% will be due by February 25th, 2021 (non-refundable) 2nd deposit of 35% will be due by March 25th, 2021 Final payment will be due by April 25th, 2021 (Visa, Mastercard or American Express) FINAL DOCUMENTS You will receive the final documents, via email, 30 days prior to the arrival date in Italy. CANCELLATION POLICY Inland Travel strongly recommends that travelers purchase trip cancellation/interruption insurance. Every cancellation must be notified to Inland Travel by email. Within 30 days of receiving written notification of the cancellation, refund will be processed. CANCELLATIONS If the cancellation occurs between February 25th, 2021 and March 25th, 2021; Inland Travel will charge 30% of the trip. If the cancellation occurs between March 26th, 2021 and April 25th, 2021; Inland Travel will charge 65% of the trip. If the cancellation occurs from April 26th, 2021; Inland Travel will charge 100% of the trip DURING THE TRIP Each tour that will be cancelled, modified, interrupted or shorten for any reason by the client during his stay, will not give right to any refund or any compensation. Each additional fee due to a modification or addition requested by the client, will be charged to the client. UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES Trip costs do not include items not specified in the itinerary. Although Inland Travel will make every effort to adhere to this itinerary, on rare occasions it may be necessary to make an adjustment to these arrangements. Should such adjust- ment be necessary, a substitute will be offered when and where possible. Inland Travel cannot accept liability if war, terrorist activities, civil unrest, exceptional closures of airports and seaports, and any other event outside the control of Inland Travel, occurs and causes cancellations, delays, holidays changes or extensions.
