Lambs Farm is a place where people grow ~ even more!
Lambs Farm is also a place where an idea has grown. From its simple roots starting in 1961 as a pet shop
on State Street in Chicago, it has grown to what it is today. It is a place that is grounded in love, dignity and
respect and rooted in the belief that there had to be a better way. It is about the value of hard work and
about giving people with developmental disabilities the opportunity to make a contribution to society and
to live as independently as possible.
Made with a Mission
On any given year, the men and women of Lambs Farm are donning their aprons, filling baking sheets,
topping cookies with sprinkles and filling jars of preserves. This year has tested the spirit and resolve of
our Participants unlike any other time in Lambs Farm’s history. Our Participants and staff have proven
to overcome challenges, persevere and show their resilience in the face of unprecedented times.
Their joy of life is the impetus to our mission and always will be. Together we have made it through
unchartered waters and together, we will continue to provide new and valuable life skills, nurture the
abilities of our Participants and look forward to a brighter new year ahead.
We will always strive to fulfill our mission, taking pride in the production of high-quality and delicious items
for your enjoyment. This year, more than ever, your purchase will not only directly support the men and
women of Lambs Farm, but will also send out an enduring message of comfort and hope to all who are
