Welcome to the 2021/2022 GCC Traded Service brochure; a comprehensive guide to the broad
range of the services and products provided by Gloucestershire County Council. Our dedicated
team of professionals has a wealth of knowledge, skills and experience to support you in achieving
positive outcomes for children and young people. Our goal is to deliver high quality services that are
accessible, efficient and reliable, whilst delivering value for money for your school or setting.
We also continue to review and develop our services in response to your needs. This brochure outlines
our core offer, but there is flexibility in what we can provide – if you are looking for something more
bespoke, please speak to us.

FREE SCHOOL MEALS WHO

ELIGIBILITY CHECKING BUY
Our team provides reports and checks for the eligibility of free
school meals for your pupils, and we review this at least twice per
school throughout the year. This ensures schools receive their
funding under pupil premium arrangements. We produce a list of
eligible pupils to each school or academy for their information.
All this is delivered at a competitive price by experienced and
committed staff.
WHAT DO WE OFFER
• We provide details to schools and academies of eligible pupils.
• Regularly review all free school meal claims & schools are
notified immediately via the live link service and they can inform
the parents and carers of this entitlement.
• Help promote free school meals through our website

Work and Pensions system, is easy to use and gives an
instant answer regarding their eligibility.

FFT (FISCHER FAMILY TRUST) WHO

Fischer Family Trust (FFT) is a UK-based non-profit organisation

that, via it’s FFT Aspire portal, provides data analysis and insights
using pupil data to support school progress, improvement and
self-reflection. By collating and analysing data they provide
attainable but motivating targets of success for individual
students to allow educational premises to track achievements.
By contracting group purchase of this service, GCCPlus is
able to provide a heavily discounted rate than if educational
settings contract themselves.
