About SouthDerm and the development of our Skincare range SouthDerm is a purpose-built facility dedicated to providing solutions in dermatology. SouthDerm dermatologists are leaders in the identification and resolution of skin problems. SouthDerm has been established for more than 20 years and during this time our dermatologists have treated over 100,000 patients. Southderm dermatologists specialise in and carry out medical, surgical and cosmetic procedures. Through these procedures and their skincare range, they are also able to enhance the look and feel of their patients’ skin. Our dermatologists, using their vast knowledge and experience about the skin, decided to formulate their own range of products for the skin, ‘The SouthDerm Skincare’ range. The goal was to provide patients with the best ingredients that have been scientifically proven to work and to provide them in concentrations, formulations and mediums that deliver the most stable, concentrated and safe products. They are free of unnecessary chemicals or preservatives. All products contain purified extracts of many natural ingredients and do not include any animal products nor have they been tested on animals. All products are vegan friendly. All products are in packaging that is recyclable and have been produced in Australia.

SOUTHDERM SKINCARE CLEANSERS
Gentle Cleanser
A soap-free gentle creamy cleanser
Contains hyaluronic acid
Cleanses the skin, leaving it feeling clean without stripping the skin of its
natural barrier protection.
Contains the hydrating ingredient hyaluronic acid and so is a hydrating cleanser

How to use
Cleansing is the first step in any skin care plan
Apply 2-3 pumps of the cleanser to the face and neck
Massage into the skin
Rinse with lukewarm water or with a soft wet cloth
Pat skin dry

Active Cleanser
A gentle exfoliating cleanser
Cleans and clears the skin without stripping or damaging the barrier.
Helps smooth the skin and improves and evens out the complexion.

• Reduces the appearance of pores and degreases the skin
• Good for acne-prone skin
• Helps prepare the skin for active serums to be applied

How to use

Vitamin C Serum
Potent antioxidant + nicotinamide + vitamin E
Brightens and repairs
This serum is deeply moisturising and hydrating. It improves collagen levels in the
skin and acts as an anti-oxidant. In addition it has anti-inflammatory and healing
effects on the skin.

How to use
A few drops go a long way. It can be used twice daily if desired
Apply 1–2 pumps to face (safe to use around the eye area)
& neck in the morning after cleansing
Massage into the skin until well absorbed
Also recommended for use on the back of hands and décolletage
Apply SPF day cream after morning application
Avoid acne-prone areas of skin
AHA Serum
Hydroxy acids (AHAs) + nicotinamide
Hydroxy acids exfoliate the skin and helps to unblock pores. The formulation
of this AHA Serum also helps to even out pigment and shrink pores. Using the
serum before moisturising enhances the effect of a moisturiser.

How to use

Vitamin A Cream
Improves appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
Contains nicotinamide
Vitamin A works by exfoliating the upper dead skin cells. This process in turn,
thickens collagen, improves elasticity and reduces pigmentation. Vitamin A
also works to improve the appearance of pore size and reduce blackheads.

How to use
After cleansing, apply 2-3 pumps of the cream to face
(can use around the eye region), neck and décolletage
Massage until well absorbed
Moisturise with Moisturiser Cream afterwards
Best applied at night
Do not use during pregnancy
Do not use if you have sensitive skin
Start using the product twice a week and then build up slowly to nightly use as
your skin adjusts to the product
If skin peels slightly then continue as it will improve with continued use
If skin feels dry – apply the Moisturiser Cream more frequently
If skin burns, goes red or feels irritated then stop. Restart gently
Remember, always wear sunscreen and sun protect during the day
Moisturiser Cream
Intense hydration + peptides + ceramides
This is a richly hydrating cream for normal and dry skin. The peptides in this cream
form the building blocks for collagen and elastin in the skin. As skin ages, collagen
and elastin levels drop. Replenishing these levels will improve the integrity and
function of the skin.

Exfoliates and moisturises for smoother skin
Contains urea which breaks down the bonds in hardened dead skin cells,
stimulates exfoliation and moisturises and hydrates the skin resulting in softer,
smoother skin.
