_ THE AUVERGNE-RHONE-ALPES REGION The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region offers a great variety of destinations, from the city of Lyon, capital of gastronomy, to the Alps and Mont Blanc, the highest peak in Western Europe, not forgetting the Drôme and the Ardèche, with their hints of Provence, or the Auvergne, with its distinctive volcanoes.
