YOUTH YOUTH SPECIAL NEEDS ADULTS SENIORS COMMUNITY To register for these classes, visit OXNARDREC.ORG or call (805) 385-7995. The City of Oxnard Recreation and Community Services offers Tiny Tot classes age (3 years old as of December), Pre-K Experience, and Get Ready for School classes (age 4 years old as of December). All children must be potty trained prior to participating in the program. Please bring proof of immunization when registering your child/children. All instructors are trained in CPR and First Aid. Tiny Tots, Pre- K Experience, and Get Ready for School are 2018 - 2019 SCHEDULE ongoing recreation programs that run 9 ½ months. To enroll SEP 5 PRESCHOOL YEAR STARTS in these programs, parents must commit and agree that their child/children will participate in all months and pay NOV 12 VETERANS DAY HOLIDAY a one-time $50.00 registration fee per child, per program. Registration fee includes material supplies, t-shirt, and a NOV 22/23 THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY guaranteed spot for your child. DEC 21 - JAN 4 WINTER BREAK Full Monthly Payments must be received by the 5th of each month (or following business day, if on a weekend). JAN 21 MARTIN LUTHER KING DAY HOLIDAY Payments can be made online or in person at the FEB 15/18 PRESIDENT’S DAY HOLIDAY Recreation & Community Services Office. Late payments (those received after the 5th of the month) will result in a APRIL 19/26 SPRING BREAK $25.00 late fee charged to your account. A graduation ceremony for Pre-K Experience and Get Ready MAY 27 MEMORIAL DAY for School programs will take place in June. An additional JUNE 7 GRADUATION materials fee will be charged in January for cap, gown, ring and a homework medal (Awarded to children completing JUNE 12 PRESCHOOL YEAR ENDS the assigned homework). Students will participate in arts, crafts, music, creative rhythms, play activities and motor development designed to develop their self awareness and group socialization skills.
