What an incredibly eventful year it’s been. Looking back at 2018, not only did we successfully
introduce Azamara PursuitSM, but we also brought together two of our beautiful vessels for a
Sister’s Meet in Norway — indeed, an unforgettable celebration. I couldn’t be more grateful
for our staff and crew, our Le Club Voyage members, and most importantly, the wonderful
gift of travel that Azamara makes possible through our shared mission. Thank you all for your
dedication and loyalty.
Looking forward, we’re excited for our 2019 annual LCV Voyage in a destination that reflects
the true spirit of an explorer: Alaska, The Last Frontier. This will be an Azamara first, and what
better way to explore this great land for the first time than with you. Learn more about this
breathtaking new destination and your 2019 LCV Voyage on pages 4 & 5.
And, with the introduction of Land and Sea packages that expand our reach into more
destinations by offering you the opportunity to venture far beyond the port of call before or
after your voyage, we have a lot to look forward to. Continuing on the theme of firsts, we’re
expanding our local coverage by calling in South Africa and the African Continent for the first
time in 2020. This deployment is a remarkable feat — we’ll be spending more time in port

Aztec women were preparing them as early as 7,000 B.C.,

best served now. Bûche de Noël, which means Christmas log
in French, consists of a sponge cake and buttercream roulade
blanketed in a rich outer layer of chocolate frosting. The
frosting is actually scored to resemble the bark of the Yule
