Fifth edition with the students of the Umberto Folli art school at the Nuovo Belvedere in Rimini
The event, now in its fifth edition, takes place next to the New Belvedere in piazzale Kennedy, where the artists of
the Umberto Folli School of Art paint live.
Organizer and creator of the event is Roberto Brolli and the artists of the art school are: Enzo Berardi, Morena
Berlin, Marco Berlini, Claudia Berardi, Gianni Caselli, Luigi Deta, Liliana Rosa Quadrelli, Eliseo Calcinari Ansidei,
Luciana Martelli, Walter Petroncini.
All the proceeds from donations are destined to Rimini Ail (Italian Association against leukemia) and the Basta
Plastica in Mare Network Association.

Rimini Shopping Night
On Wednesdays from 30th June to 25th August 2021
On Wednesdays, special evenings in Rimini historic centre with shops open until late at night
Rimini Shopping Night is back also in Summer 2021. Many are the shops that remain open until 11.00 pm,
together with restaurants and clubs, between aperitifs and entertainment. A proposal that intersects with the
cultural offer of the city, with the City Museum, the Surgeon's Domus and the contemporary art museum Part,
Palazzi dell’Arte Rimini offering extended opening hours. An opportunity to experience the city and the shopping
on summer evenings in a joyful and relaxed atmosphere.
The initiative continues every Wednesday in July and August.

Preview of the 72nd Malatesta Music Festival: concert by Laura Catrani
In the spaces of the Sala Pamphili in the Agostiniani Complex, the setting for many original productions dedicated
to musical theater, in July the Malatesta Music Festival presents a preview of the 72nd edition billboard with two
events ranging from ancient to contemporary repertoire. Two original projects that will feature the versatile and
popular voices of Laura Catrani and Arianna Lanci.
In 'Vox in Bestia.. A handbook of divine animals' (13 and 14 July, 9.30 pm), Laura Catrani faces Dante thanks to
the collaboration with three composers: Fabrizio De Rossi Re for Hell, Matteo Franceschini for Purgatory and
Alessandro Solbiati for Paradise, authors of a sequence of compositions on verses of the Comedy that evoke or
describe animals. The writer Tiziano Scarpa who wrote texts also participates in this original musical bestiary,
reading his poetic inventions, while between one cantica and the other Peppe Frana, lutenist and guitarist, plays
music from Dante's time: from troubadour chansons to the polyphonies of the French Ars Nova.

Crossroads: Jazz and more in Emilia Romagna

Traveling Jazz Festival and more in Emilia Romagna - 22nd edition
Crossroads Jazz e Altro in Emilia Romagna is a traveling festival that takes place throughout the region, and is
one of the major European initiatives in this area.
The initial date is set for May 17, the final date on December 7: seven months in which more than 60 concerts will
be set, involving about 400 artists, in over twenty municipalities.
Crossroads 2021 is organized as always by Jazz Network in collaboration with the Department of Culture of the
Emilia-Romagna Region and with the support of the Ministry of Culture and numerous other institutions.
The first appointment in Rimini is on 3 July at the Lido Arena in Darsena with the large staff of the Italian Jazz
Orchestra with a tribute to Frank Sinatra that will involve the voices of the special guest Sara Jane Morris and
Nick The Nightfly.
Peppe Servillo for an inspired duo with Danilo Rea's piano (15 July, at the Court of the Augustinians).
On 25 July at the Arena Lido della Darsena the trio formed by bassist Avishai Cohen with Elchin Shirinov, on
piano and Roni Kaspi on drums.

International Festival of Animation Films, Comics and Games
The Festival comes back to Rimini with a formula combining live and online events; this year’s theme is Saving
the Planet, and a special homage to Dante Alighieri, on the occasion of the 7th Centenary of his death.
Ramarro, the super hero of Palumbo, is the protagonist of the poster of the 37th edition of Cartoon Club,
international festival of animation, comics and games.
The 2021 edition will be developed between the historical centre and Marina centre, and it will touch the most
evocative venues, Piazza sull’Acqua, Corte degli Agostiniani, Cinema Tiberio, City Museum, Art Space Augeo art
gallery, Piazzale Fellini.
250 animation short films from all over the world, long-features, specific programs for children and families,
workshops with field experts. Between 15 and 18 July, Piazzale Fellini will host Riminicomix, the market exhibition
for comic books, memorabilia and novelty aficionados.
And also the colourful Cosplay Convention and a new Games section (and E-Sports in particular). Meetings with
the artists, directors, illustrators, art directors, journalists, even in live streaming, without forgetting the exhibits
open until 31 July.

composer in collaboration with the scholar Antonio Conti dedicated a monumental composition to Cassandra, an
unbelieved prophetess. The traumatic events of the Trojan War flow through the woman's voice.

The initial date is set for May 17, the final date on December 7: seven months in which more than 60 concerts will
be set, involving about 400 artists, in over twenty municipalities.
Crossroads 2021 is organized as always by Jazz Network in collaboration with the Department of Culture of the
Emilia-Romagna Region and with the support of the Ministry of Culture and numerous other institutions.
The first appointment in Rimini is on 3 July at the Lido Arena in Darsena with the large staff of the Italian Jazz
Orchestra with a tribute to Frank Sinatra that will involve the voices of the special guest Sara Jane Morris and
Nick The Nightfly.
Peppe Servillo for an inspired duo with Danilo Rea's piano (15 July, at the Court of the Augustinians).
On 25 July at the Arena Lido della Darsena the trio formed by bassist Avishai Cohen with Elchin Shirinov, on

XXIII edition: 'crossing bridges', the two thousand years of the Tiberius bridge
A festival of conferences, meetings and shows, now in its 23rd edition, which will focused on the Ponte di Tiberio,
on the occasion for the celebrations for its 2000 years of construction (between 14 and 21 AD). The events will be
featured in an innovative organization formula, with several summer events in the months of July and held
outdoors. Evening events will start on July 7, including the theatrical meeting with Daniel Pennac ‘Dal sogno alla
scena’, on Saturday 17, and they will be held in several locations such as the Lapidario Garden at the City
Museum and the amazing Piazza sull’Acqua, near the bridge of Tiberius; here, also two events of the
Tiberio 2000 program will take place, articulated in shows, lives, sound landscapes and digital narratives,
organized in partnership with the Laboratorio Aperto Rimini Tiberio.
In addition to the initiatives for adults, Piccolo Mondo Antico Festival is aimed at the youngest with new
proposals, related to the theme of the edition, and with already tested events. This year there are also

Galli Theater: Rudolf Noureev Competition
From 26 to 30 July 2021
Second edition of the international competition dedicated to the figure of Rudolf Noureev
The Galli Theater hosts the second edition of the Rudolf Noureev Competition conceived by Daniel Agésilas
(former Director of the National Conservatory of Paris and partner of Rudolf), and Maria Guaraldi (organizer of
international events in the world of dance), with the sponsorship of the Noureev Foundation and the collaboration
of the Municipality of Rimini.
The event aims to transmit to the younger generations the memory of extraordinary choreographic works, which
still today constitute the repertoire of the largest companies in the world.
The competition, which takes place from 26 to 30 July, is preceded by the Masterclasses, or training meetings for
young students and professional dancers. The appointments (23-27 June 2021) see the presence of Etoile and
partners who had the privilege of working with Noureev. Noemi Canini and Deva Iacubino from Rimini, together
with Roberta Messi (Brescia) and Caterina Volpe (Verona) are the students selected to participate together with
other dancers from all over the world in the competition.

The final of the competition is held on July 30th, with demonstrations by the students, performances by the

and Valentine Colasante in the double step of the balcony scene from Romeo and Juliet by Rudolf Noureev.

Twelve authors, nine Italians and three foreigners, for a single story around the theme of the relationship between
man, nature and the cosmos.
More than forty photos, but also drawings, videos and installations that reveal different ways of reflecting on the
magical, poetic, but also scientific aspects through which the human being relates and turns to the sky and the
starry vault, a miracle of beauty and mystery.
