Please see an NTDA staff member, any member of the Board of Directors, or our amazing volunteers if you have any questions during the 31st Annual NTDA Convention. Our goal is to have a safe, fun, educational, world-class event at the beautiful Fairmont Chateau Whistler. In case of illness or should you wish to visit a doctor, the Fairmont’s Guest Services team can provide transportation to/from the clinic (depending on the severity of injury/illness). Fire and Emergency Procedures: The Fairmont Chateau Whistler has been engineered to meet and exceed fire codes and is equipped with a wet/dry sprinkler system, heat/smoke detectors, pull stations, and readily available fire extinguishers throughout the building. The Fairmont is one of the only hotels in Whistler to monitor its fire system 24/7 and will respond immediately to an event in the hotel. General Guest Security: • While visiting the beautiful Whistler Village, we urge you to take the same care for your own security and safety as you would at home. • Please remove all valuables from your vehicle (if you have one on-property). All guest rooms are equipped with electronic safes to store your valuables during your visit. • Keep your bedroom door locked. Please ensure your door is fully closed when leaving and entering the room, engage the deadbolt for added security. • The hotel will not disclose any personal information such as guest names or room numbers. CY If the Fairmont Chateau Whistler deems the NTDA Convention may not be held in 2021 due to events out of their control, your Convention registration fee will be refunded by the Association. The NTDA is not responsible for refunding of hotel, travel-related expenses, or rebooking CMY fees. Each sponsor, exhibitor, participant, hired service provider, volunteer, Board member or staff member should realize that there are inherent K risks, hazards, and dangers involved including transport of equipment, travel to/from the event, and, of course, participation in the event itself. Attendee expressly agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NTDA, its shareholders, directors, officers, members, employees, independent contractors, and affiliates from and against all claims, actions, losses, liabilities, expenses, damages, and/or judgments, including litigation costs and attorney’s fees, which arise or result from attendee’s involvement with, and/or participation in, the 31st Annual NTDA Convention, including but not limited to those arising from, or related to, the COVID-19 pandemic. All attendees voluntarily participate in this activity.
