WSSRA Spotlight Annie Hart ITRS Professional of the Year WSSRA would like to congratulate Annie Hart, Superintendent of Safety and Operations, for receiving the Professional of the Year Award from the Illinois Therapeutic Recreation Section of the Illinois Parks and Recreation Association. Annie has been making her mark at WSSRA and IPRA/ITRS for twelve impactful years. Annie’s dedication, positivity and efforts to create an optimal environment at WSSRA is noticed by everyone. Annie’s problem-solving skills has allowed WSSRA to keep providing outstanding services amid a world shutting down due to the Covid-19 pandemic. She went above and beyond this past year to ensure the safety and well-being of WSSRA’s participants, staff and family members. Thank you, Annie, for keeping us all safe! Lekotek: Toy Lending Library Who can participate? Children ages birth-8 and family members are welcome to participate. Play sessions are scheduled monthly based on the family’s availability. Participants must be able to meet participation eligibility guidelines. What does a play session look like? All play sessions are conducted once a month for one hour each session. Play sessions are led by our experienced Lekotek Leaders. Each session children are introduced to a variety of adapted toys making play possible for ALL children.
