As we arrived yesterday it was snowing Budapest meeting and we woke up this morning to deep snow in the garden of the Oasi and a • News beautiful clear view of the Alps. What a pity that we had to work! • Publications So what did we discuss at the Board - we worked on updating our constitution • OnlineDocs which will be brought to our annual meeting later this year for approval. • Agenda Finances as usual were on the agenda and as an organisation we need to manage our money carefully in difficult economic times. Suggestions for raising income are welcome and I will be giving this more thought - so please do send me any ideas you may have. We discussed the possibility of using social networking tools for communica- ting but felt that the email list works so why change when there is little need to. As an experiment we are going to have an entry in Wikipedia (France) to pro- mote Elisad. This will be monitored to see what impact it has before deciding whether we should have a page for every country that our members come from. Many of us worked on the Gateway Project and, as I have said before, it is a resource that we need to continue updating, and I will be giving some serious thought to this. Our annual meeting was discussed and it was agreed that we should rename it as our Annual Conference. The evaluation of the Budapest meeting in 2009 was very useful to us as we considered what the theme might be - if you any ideas please email either Jorunn Moen jm@sirus.no or Claes Olsson claes.olsson@can.se who are both involved in our conference organising group. Spring is the time of renewal and new beginnings, so I would like to congratulate Brian Galvin, a member from Eire, on becoming the Head of the Irish Focal Point. Christine Goodair, Elisad Chair
