RECOMMENDED BY Akorn With our 20-minute Instant Expert webinars almost finished, I want to take a minute to thank you all for such great attendance and for reaching out with questions and inquiries to learn and enjoy more of South America. In fact, thanks to many hotels and national parks reopening in the region, and Akorn’s Safe- Travels acknowledgement, visiting us to explore is a more tangible option every day, we remain very optimistic for the new better! This month we are sharing some news and local expert advice and since we will miss seeing you on our webinars, in October we will have another way to stay closer to you all, look out for our invitation to our Local Experts LIVE! Big hugs from Lima, Dalia Gibu Regional Sales & Marketing Director dgibu@akorndmc.com Our Recommendation of the Month Domes of Colonial Quito Visiting the churches in Quito and learning all about their interesting history and legends is part of the experience in Ecuador’s capital. However, there is another -much lesser- known way to enjoy a church, when traveling with Akorn. Let us take you to one of the iconic churches of the city. However instead of only admiring the facade or wowing at the gold-leaf dressed interiors, we will access the monastery through a side door, climb centuries-old stoned stairs and finally make it up (and out) to the domes of the church. Once here you will not just be able to enjoy privileged views of Colonial Quito, but to take great photos of the city and learn even more about the architecture of the church, in addition to an Akorn-like surprise that we may as well prepare for you here. Akorn Ecuador Country Manager, Margarita Sanchez did this experience herself and you can tell by her photo that she enjoyed this instagramable moment very much! Our Recommendation of the Month Brazil’s Belmond Copacabana Palace Like visiting Rio’s iconic Copacabana Beach and (or) staying at a Belmond property wasn’t great already, we are happy to announce that the Belmond Copacabana Palace has reopened their doors, meaning that it is once again an option to book and stay, to bring your clients’ Brazil experience to a higher level, with top-notch accommodation, utmost comfort and our recommended and highly exclusive Chef’s Table experience, for a mind-blowing bite of the flavors of Brazil. We thought of no best way to celebrate and congratulate them than sharing a picture of Akorn Brazil Country Manager, Mikael Castro, enjoying their view of the beach.
