Olympian Garden Buildings is a family-run business based
in Sandbach, Cheshire, where we have been designing and
manufacturing luxury garden buildings since 1983.
Prior to establishing the company, our founder and
managing director was a successful British athlete who
competed in the 1972 Munich Olympics, an achievement
that inspired our name.
We are passionate about creating exquisite garden
buildings that will provide you with the additional storage
or living space you crave, while also complementing and
enhancing your outdoor space.
From small log stores and sheds to large workshops,
summerhouses and fully bespoke garden rooms, we can

We use premium Kingspan insulation to ensure that our garden rooms
remain warm and dry whatever the weather and with large windows

We are one of the only companies in the country that utilise an extensive number of large purpose built structures within our production
facility to air dry all tanalised timber. this process allows all timber to return to the same moisture content as it was prior to treatment.
This ensures that you don’t experience excessive shrinkage, twisting or splitting and offers a greater life span for our timber compared to
non-tanalised or damp / wet tanalised timber. After the tanalising process, Olympian then air dry all timber prior to internal storage and
eventual use, ensuring we only use dry timber within our buildings.

Our company ethos of developing strong links with trusted suppliers has enabled us to
work with leading Swedish mills and UK timber companies since 1983 to ensure our
16mm Tanalised T&G Shiplap quality demands and requirements are always met. Our timber is all high quality, slow
grown with a tight grain and is less susceptible to dead knots and is FSC certified.
Our cladding styles and thickness are unrivalled allowing you to create a truly bespoke
building. All sizes stated are ‘nominal’ - pre-planed sizes. The finished sizes are
16mm Tanalised T&G approximately 4mm less.
