A Primary Teaching School Alliance
CPD Programme - Teaching School Alliance
Welcome to ConnectED, a well established Teaching School Alliance led
by Barrow CEVC Primary School in Suffolk. The Alliance is proud to be able
to support teaching, learning and leadership in schools across Suffolk and
              beyond.
Bringing together the broad range of expertise, experience, and talent from our partnership schools
and strategic partners, our aim is to make a significant contribution to raising standards in schools;
leading to excellent outcomes for all the children in the region.
Our programme for Spring 2020, offers a range of high-quality twilight, half-day and full-day CPLD
opportunities. Our varied programme supports teachers, middle and senior leaders, teaching assistants
and others working within schools to improve their knowledge and skills and to have a positive impact
on their future practice. Details of our events for this term are available within this brochure. Also
included, at the back of the brochure, is a brief preview of our programme for Summer 2020. If you
would like to register your interest for any of our Summer courses please contact us to let us know.
Courses and events take place in a variety of venues. These include ConnectED’s training room at
Barrow CEVC Primary within West Suffolk. We also provide events which are hosted by Ipswich High
School in the South of the county and at Chilton Primary in Mid-Suffolk. In Norfolk, training takes place
at Diamond Academy in Thetford. We offer bespoke training to individual, or groups of, schools in
response to local needs. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like ConnectED to provide
bespoke training at another venue within the region.

Please browse through our brochure and if you require any further information please do not hesitate to

A Selection of Feedback Received from Delegates during Autumn Term 2019

“A really good day. Well-paced, lots
of interaction. Lots to think about
                                 and put into practice.”

“Very useful. Lots to take back and
try in class as well as try to
                                        implement as a whole school.”

                          “Lovely informed trainers,
                              beautifully presented,
                               informative, easy to
                                   implement.”

                                      “Greatly appreciated the insight
                                            into the new inspection
                                         framework and what will be
needed. I will be sharing with
                                           other members of staff.”

“I found the whole course of benefit
                          and reinstated my confidence in
areas not used all the time.”

“Absolutely brilliant – smiling as I
                                            bounce away – thank you!”

“Today was really useful and will
                            impact on my own teaching”

                                     “Very informative, great balance
                                          of learning and discussion
                                          throughout. Varied course
                                                   content.”
