82% said they were satisfied with the
area they lived in. Almost a fifth of the
2,306 residents questioned said they did
unpaid volunteering for local groups and
organisations. And an all-time high for the
survey came when 91% of respondents
agreed with the statement ‘People from
different ethnic backgrounds get on well
