Vice-Chancellor
Welcome to the University of Chester, from wherever in
the world you are reading this from. I am delighted that
you are considering making an application for one of our
programmes.
Choosing a University is never an easy choice, especially as an international student
– in fact, it’s one of the biggest decisions you’ll ever make. I have spoken to many
international students here at Chester during my first year as Vice-Chancellor and can
tell you that they all believe they have made the right decision. I have been impressed
and inspired by their stories of academic success and extra-curricular engagement
and how they’ve quickly found their feet and embraced student life in their new
surroundings.
At the University of Chester, we are proud of our diverse and inclusive nature. We are
currently home to students from more than 130 countries worldwide and provide
every single student with a platform to help make their academic and career goals
a reality. We have a strong focus on social justice and are working hard to ensure
equality of treatment and opportunity for all. For example, we have active projects
