JUNIOR LESSON PROGRAM

The junior lessons are for first time golfers to experienced golfers. Lessons are made up of four age/skill
appropriate golf development levels that the golf instructors will teach and guide juniors through. In
each level, juniors will learn important techniques, as well as sportsmanship, etiquette, and then
graduating into on course playing lessons. Last, but not least, juniors will meet a lot of new friends while
continuing to grow the great game of golf.

Juniors and parents will notice that some exercises, most notably in the Starters Program, do not look
relevant to golf. It is during your child’s first few years of golf that the emphasis will be placed on
physical literacy. Learning agility, balance, coordination and speed are vital in the control of beginner
junior golfers. Games and other sports such as throwing a ball will develop basic hitting actions, and
catching will develop proper hand-eye coordination.

Once the season is over parents and juniors can discuss with the instructor the progress made and plans
for next year. Options could be continuing to develop skills at their current level or progressing onto the
next. Private lessons are also a popular avenue for juniors looking to get more serious while learning at a
1-on-1 level.
