Orivet DNA Profiling Innovative Preventative Medicine Imagine being able to predict the likelihood of disease by analysing the genome and lifestyle of your patients, then tailoring a lifetime of veterinary care in line with their potential risk factors. You would achieve truly personalised veterinary medicine. Now stop imagining because NWL, in partnership with Orivet UK are offering exactly this Animals of all ages, but ideally puppies and kittens can be genetically screened for hereditary diseases and traits buried within their DNA (Health Screen). Health screens check for all breed related or relevant genetic diseases or traits Identifying risk permits implementation of specific monitoring programs or procedures to either prevent development of disease or ensure early diagnosis and treatment The genetic information, along with knowledge of diet, lifestyle, breed, age, weight, gender and environment are used to rank risks based on prevalence and severity and develop a personalised health and wellness plan (Orivet LifePlanTM) This innovative collaboration enables you to operate a bespoke healthcare management program which is appropriate throughout the life of the pet Owners receive regular email alerts relating to routine parasite control, vaccination, heath screening or monitoring; this initiates a visit to the surgery thereby strengthening the Vet-Client-Patient bond Call 01253 899215 for further information or visit www.nwlabs.co.uk Wkg Code Name Includes Comment Sample Days ORIVP DNA Swab Pack 2 N/A ORIV1 Breed ID and LifePlan For mixed breeds 28 DNA Swab Pack For pure breeds and dogs ORIV2 Dog Health Screen and LifePlan 28 DNA Swab Pack with known breed makeup Comprehensive test for mixed ORIV3 Breed ID and Health Screen Combo 28 DNA Swab Pack breeds, includes lifeplan For known cat breeds, the ORIV4 Cat Health Screen and LifePlan 28 DNA Swab Pack DSH and DLH ORIV5 Canine Breed ID 28 DNA Swab Pack ORIVD Individual DNA Test 28 DNA Swab Pack Pa ren t 25% 2 Cavalier King Miniature t1 Charles Spaniel ren Poodle Pa 0% 5 .5% 12 .5% Lhaso Apso 12 Jack Russell Terrier 6 Delivering excellence and innovation in animal health
