UPDATES & IMPROVEMENTS The Converse Parks Department takes great pride in keeping the community safe by taking the necessary extra steps to keep our parks open and safe. We are using our new disinfecting fogger to disinfect all the park restrooms three times a day and disinfect all the playground equip- ment located throughout our parks to combat the spread of Covid-19. We are excited to announce some new updates and improvements for the city. One of the improvements you may have noticed, is the new direction park signs located throughout the city. We are also working to improve and rehabilitate the entrance to City Park at Mesquite St., working our way back to the new Greenway Walking Trail. Because the safety of our community members is of upmost importance, the Parks Department will be installing new speed bumps located by the Converse Fitness center. 8 Community Magazine

UPDATE FROM YOUR GROUNDS DEPARTMENT As we enter the Fall season, the Grounds Division led by Supervisor Elvin Hernandez, is proudly motivated by the improvements the Grounds Division team completed around the city. Our team focused on the cleaning and maintaining all of the drainage ditches around the city as well as maintained a constant presence in areas like Toepperwein Rd., S.
