In the long term I hope to combine my passions of sports marketing and graphic design in a strategic
position for a professional sports team, ideally in the NFL. I hope to strengthen a team’s brand and its
fan base around a united cause of success on and off the field.
BEST EXPERIENCE AT UO SO FAR
My best experience at the UO so far has to be my two-week study abroad sports business program
this past summer. We had access to many companies which students at other universities would
not have been able to hear from including Nike Europe, Adidas World HQ, Lagardere Sports, Wieden +
Kennedy Amsterdam, the German Olympic Committee and many more. In total, we travel to five cities
in 14 days with plenty of free time to go out and explore local cultures and even do some hiking in the
Bavarian Alps. I would highly recommend this program to anyone interested in sports business.

ONE THING YOU WANT TO DO BEFORE LEAVING UO
Before I leave the UO I would like to attend a CrossFit class with Julia Smith.
GREATEST ROLE MODEL
My greatest role model has to be Russell Wilson, QB1 of the Seattle Seahawks. I am a little biased
because I have been a Hawks fan my entire life, but through what I have observed following his career,
the media and his own personal accounts, Russell is a man of extremely high character, positivity,
charity and Christian faith. He and his wife Ciara go to the Seattle Children’s Hospital every Tuesday,
and he is constantly upbeat even after a loss. I hope to emulate him as I go through trials in my
professional career.
FAVORITE BUSINESS COURSE
My favorite business class so far has been Marketing 311H. Our professor, Leah Schneider, was
extremely energetic and passionate about marketing despite the 8:00 a.m. start time, and she
brought out my passion for the subject through interesting lectures with real-world examples. Our
final presentation was a competitive marketing presentation to the class, and going through that
entire process brought my group very close together.

My best experience at UO was meeting tons of people at the very beginning of Honors Business. The
first fall term was so fun because we were involved in so many group projects and were meeting so
many different people for the very first time.

One thing I would like to do is see the campus complete with the new science campus and the new
track field.
GREATEST ROLE MODEL
My greatest role model is Kanye West as he is not one to conform to the common thought patterns
of society. Kanye does not change what he believes in simply to gain acceptance from other people.
I love how he is very authentic and open with people. He sees the world in a positive light with love at
the core.

My great aunt Stella was an incredible woman and defied gender roles for her time as one of the first
women to attend Columbia. I’m incredibly proud to be related to such a lively and resilient woman who
was not afraid to be independent, adventurous and courageous when others told her she couldn’t.

After graduation, I am looking for opportunities that will allow me to travel, connect with people, and
enable business transformation and value creation. Currently, I am excited to explore opportunities in
consulting, technology, and startups.

The people. Being in Honors and the Oregon Consulting Group has provided me the opportunity to
learn from those before me and contribute to the growth and development of those behind me.
Playing a role in the experience of others, and having others play a role in mine, has been the best part
of my time at the University of Oregon.

BA352. It was a really fun class that helped me to form some great relationships in the Lundquist
College and the Honors Program. Plus, I’m always happy to work on a consulting project!

I would like to one day become a shareholder at Perkins and Company, where I am incredibly excited

BEST EXPERIENCE AT UO SO FAR
My best experience at UO would have to be BA 352 with Nicole Wilson. I got to work with some of the
most amazing people and learned so much about how to actually conduct myself on a team. There
truly never was a dull moment.
ONE THING YOU WANT TO DO BEFORE LEAVING UO
I have yet to need to pull an all-nighter, so my main goal is to maintain that streak through graduation.
GREATEST ROLE MODEL
My very first boss at Wilson pool, Sarah Wiggins. She demonstrated to me how to be a great leader
that fostered an environment where employees wanted to show up to work, yet still was able to
ensure that the pool operated perfectly.
FAVORITE BUSINESS COURSE
BA 352. Getting to work with my team on the Falling Sky project was one of the greatest learning
35 experiences I could ever have and my team made it so incredibly fun.
