The City’s response to COVID-19 A few months ago, our freedom and access to the things we took for granted was turned upside down, as the full impacts of the Global Pandemic Emergency was realised. In a whole of government response, the City has played its part to support the vulnerable sections of the community, providing much needed food and community resources assistance, providing financial relief and preparing for the worst. 2020/2021 Budget Overview The budget for the Financial Year Ending June 2021 (FY21) has been developed in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic Emergency. The budget supports local residents and businesses by committing to a freeze in rate revenue, and also provides economic stimulus through the provision of key projects brought forward.
