BRILLA & EVENTS SUMMER PROGRAMS 2021 - Brilla Public ...
Dear Brilla Families,

Brilla Public Charter Schools are committed to the excellence and holistic development of each
Brilla student and understand the need for resources that will enrich your children. As such, we
have put together this information packet for your convenience. In this packet, you will find a full list
of summer programs, events and online programs for you to explore. We encourage you to take part
in as many educational and recreational activities, either in person or online, this summer!

Brilla’s Top Pick: We highlight the Summer Rising program. Summer Rising is New York City’s
free school-based summer program for any City child in grades K–8. These programs provide a
bridge to the next school year and allow students to reconnect with one another and with their
schools. Students will address unfinished learning while being provided avenues for recreation,
exploration, and fun. You can view their application online to find a program near you at:
https://www1.nyc.gov/site/dycd/services/SummerRising.page.
We hope that this helps lighten your summer research load. For any questions or additional
resources please reach out to your school based Operations teams.

Sincerely,

Brilla Enrollment and Outreach Team

https://www1.nyc.gov/site/dycd/services/SummerRising.page.
